River is pretty much trips, boat or air(45, 6x) right?

i like b/3b on flop, your hand is really strong, like 50/50 w/ an overpair and he likely folds some of them. turn just get him in if he only has 90 more.

whats the problem on the river? CALL!

ugh this is such a gross spot...id be 99% sure i was beat and then call...and then hell show 66...idk its a pretty sick hand...maybe raise turn so you dont have this decision but idk

This is a horrible reason for raising the turn.

just because you have him in your avatar doesnt mean you or anyone else playing small stakes is him..i know what your getting at and it doesnt apply to these stakes

95% fold pf. Not raising the turn as it folds out weaker hands and gets called/reraised by hands that beat us. River is going to be trip, boat or air and i'd say more likely we are beaten and make a weak fold.

Umm, WHAT?

Did I claim to be great or something? Where did that come from?

It has nothing to do with stakes. You should raise the turn because you are ahead of his range, not because it makes river easier to play. That's a horrible reason no matter what the stakes are.

I dont like the b/3b on the flop. You are an underdog to an overpair and the other hands in the calling range have you crushed.

Re: 200NL - Trips, river decision

I didn't raise the turn because I figured if I'm ahead, then his likely holdings were overpairs 88-JJ, 6x, and on occasion pure air.
If he has a pair, then probably can't stand to call a raise. 6x is drawing to 4 outs, and if they hit the 8, then I get paid.

ejay, Sabr, thoughts on river?

its hard to get a read of 20 hands but this line seems like he has you beat.

I like how you played it actually, and call river as guys with 75% VPIP do stupid [censored]. It's 20 hands, but it's really hard to play 15 out of 20 hands and not be a maniac.

I like the way you played it, turn is too awkward for a raise and would fold out potential bluffs, as played call but expect to be show 68 or a set 80% of the time

I like your thoughts about turn play.

Btw, i am dying for a result in this one, as it's been breaking me, reading the hand over and over again.

I think villain pushes any river, and i don't feel his play is all that strong! (this is based on the limited stats and his stacksize). To me, his flop play is all out donk, although i cannot exclude A7 as an obvious part of his range, i feel you are well ahead most of the time. I wouldnt be surprised if he turned up A6, A5 or even weaker! His check-gayraise tells me he is afraid to get his very limited stack in, rather than actually getting value for a big hand.
I call, assuming that i'm beat around 33% of the time...

My name is Station, Calling Station!
