I'm a NLCash player who's been dabbling in HU SNG's lately. I've been reading as much as I can from the forum and I see a lot of talk about the number of losses you can expect to have in a row. I read that cwar had 17 losses in a row. I was wondering what kind of win streaks everyone has had. Is it possible to win 17 in a row?

my record is 20 at the $22s and $33s.

Nibster , everything may be possible .

If there were a heads up tournament with 131 072 participants and only one winner ,then he would have to win 17 in a row to win the event .

If you're a 60% winner , then the probability you win exactly 17 games at some point after playing 1000 games is ~

2*0.0000677 + 981*0.00002708=2.67%

You can see how rare this is . Even if you're a good player , there is only about a 2.67% chance that you will win 17 in a row in the first 1000 games .

After 10000 games and using p=0.6 , the approximate probability is

2*0000677+ 9981*.00002708~27%

Even after 10 000 games , there is only about a 27% chance of winning 17 in a row .

I won 23 10+1's in a row on Party right before the legislation. I was a fish for paying double rake and probably didn't play that well at that time anyways.

My longest win streak since starting to take HU seriously is 16.

The #1 ranked player on the sharkscope leaderboard for hu wins in a row won 27 straight.

I hope I experience a 15+ game winning streak one more time in my poker career.

I`m playing Hu sngs for about a month now and won 13 22er in a row one week ago.

Only played about 22 total of $20 + $30. Won my first 11 and lost 3 total.

i've won 15 or so in a row between the 33-110 limit, and i've won like 17/18 a couple of times

My highest win streak so far (546 total HU SNG's played) is 11. It feels great and looks good when added to your bankroll!

20++ win streaks must be really sick..

HokieGreg is leading so far, do we have a higher bid somewhere?

Ive never had a 17 buyin lose streak, that was my biggest downswing. I have won 15 in a row however.

Biggest win streak is 9, biggest loss streak is 5.

Ive won 18 in a row at the 100s and above. That was a fun day. Hu sngs are pretty streaky. Sometimes the game seems so easy while other times its like pulling teeth.

13 wins in a row, 7 losses. Make sure that you're still playing well when on a downswing, your winrate of 60% may drop to something like 40% if you're tilting or playing bad.

well my smallest losing streak would be 1 game.

I think my largest was 7 or 8.
