Many states have insane "internet stalking" laws that basically say if you post someone's contact information online without their permission and they are contacted by more than 1 person you can be charged with felony stalking. EVEN IF THIS IS ALREADY PUBLIC INFORMATION that has been posted on their myspace, blogs, etc. This recently happened to a poster on digg.com and it is quite the unnecessary headache.
