Official Sunday Lotto Competition- Team SSM vs Team Crazy Frog!
 

This Sunday there will be staking for the $11 crapshoot tournament on Stars with like a hundred grand guarantee. I've never played in this tournament, but from what I gathere there rae like 10 zillion runners and it's just a bunch of insanity and all ins and luckboxing.

Bakes staked people for this tournament a few weeks ago or so, and we've decided to do a competition this Sunday.

We will each be recruiting teams of 25-50 people (haven't talked to him about how many yet, assumedly in that number, we're both very rich so it could be up to infinite people that we stake, LDO) to play for us in this tournament. The backing deals will be something betwen 70-30 and 75-25 in favor of the backer (at least that is what it will be for my team).

This thread is generally an interest thread, but will also be used submit entry forms. If you want to play for team Ship Ship McGipp, please submit a one post entry in this thread. Be sure to include:

Team you want to be staked for (Ship Ship McGipp or Bakes/Crazy Frog, 2+2 name, PokerStars name (with location), and either a brief description of why you want to be staked or a picture or something that will make me laugh and like you immediately (please no reuses of pictures, if I see a kitten that says "I wants to be steaked!" I'm going to kill your third born child- be original).

I will choose based on your application and the number of posts you have on 2+2 (with strength for high post count and reliability). With the stake comes possibility of futuring staking and possibile brief coaching or acknowledgement that you know me.

Anyways, that's all I can think of for now- also, please don't bring alternate team rejects to us. If you try to sign up for team Bakes and he turns your ass down because you are a clown, I will laugh in your face and make fun of your mother.

But if you're free tomorrow at 3:30 EST and want to play in a poker tournament, sign up here. Poker skills appreciated, but not necessarily necessary.

First off, i cant play for any team other than ship ship mcgipp since that has become my new phrase when winning a pot. 2+2 name tbrown932, pstars name cmoneymaker8 (weston). obviously i should be staked because at some point in my career i plan on emulating my boy Chris's success in 2003. not only do i always go all in with 5 4 offsuit for no apparent reason whatsoever, especially against players named sammy, i routinely river full houses when the top players in the world have me outkicked. since the only thing that matters in this tourny is luck, i figure im your best shot. plus i do a REALLY good country boy impression in the chat

I would like to play for team "Ship Ship McGipp" because I'm:

a) horrible at poker
b) prone to withdrawing after the slightest downswing
c) BUSTO AS HELL

I won a 4/180 once and I often consider myself a "winning player" when I run good

ohhhh that's a good idea. it will be mandatory to change your avatar to this 8 point star/compass rose for ONE day on 2+2, and bakes cna have you change it to his, it just takes too long to change them on stars.

Also, I should let you guys know- Bakes runs much better than me and owns the 109 rebuy even more than I do, he final tables it 3 times a day and it only runs twice a day and he does not multi- account, so figure that one out.

Also, winner will be determined by amount of money won, neither of us are smart enough or ambitious enough to figure out any other scoring system- I'm also not sure what we're going to bet on this.

Last time Bakes did this I went deeper than all of the other horses

I used the $$ I won to build a roll and now I 8 table $3 sngs. I have enough money to enter, and I know this is -EV, but I would like to join Bakes team to help him win this, because he's a good guy and started me on my road to robusto
