Why does my Party client restart every time I close it???
 

Alright, this has gone on long enough (e.g. a couple weeks). EVERY single time i close my Party client, it automatically re-opens itself. It's just a minor annoyance to close it again, but an annoyance nonetheless.
(What's strange, i guess, is that it only does this one...e.g. it will not re-open itself AGAIN once I close it for the second time).

My guess is that someone (your mom?) put some kind of malicious software on your computer.

I have the same problem. However, the client doesn't seem to restart if I don't leftclick anywhere on the screen(s) while the shutdown advertisment is diplayed. Still, very annoying.

Mine gives me an error message and restarts about 1/4 of the time when I quit.

i posted in CTH a few days ago asking bout the error message but obv the tech geeks had no idea what it was all about [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

I have this as well. I wouldn't be surprised if this is intentional to entice degenerates one last time to log back in and play some more [img]/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]

same here.

i suspect that if i click while the wonderful oktoberfest ad is displaying causes it to start again. maybe party poker set the click area trigger to the whole screen because they assume only drunk people would click the oktoberfest ad, and as you u know drunk people have difficulties aiming their mouse.

1. Me, too. Every time.

2. And, for a longer time, almost always, in an MTT, the lobby I keep on screen disappears periodically, for no logical reason. Then, when I click the lobby bar on my table to bring it back, my whole Party application shuts down (I am NOT mis-clicking the wrong bar just below). This an issue with anyone else?
