Warcraft III - DOTA
 

Ok my friends got me playing this game and im hooked. I'm also tired of playing public games with absolute morons on my team. Anyone else playing this?

Me and a few other 2p2ers play quite often. Everyone is on USWest (Don't remember the retarded word for it)

I play dota on Northend (EU)

Morphling is quite tricky to play for newbies, pick a hero with an (almost) instagib ulti like Lion or Lina and you're guaranteed to get a kill even if it's stolen [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

best way to learn is reading premium guides on sites like dotaportal.com in their hero guide forums.

we should have a designated 2p2 channel on different realms

join ch 2p2 when you are dotaing on east

There's like 15+ ppl in Clan 2p2 that play Dota on West. A lot of them (maybe even most) are from the east coast.

Obv you should switch to west.

The games I would get into would always be random. Even then I would have a buddy who is really good at the game help me out. Maybe I don't have the patience for that game. I'll just stick to tower D.

It takes a while to get good, since you need to know each Hero's skills... so 70 x 4 = 280 skills to memorize. Also, AR games are stronger than AP, which is usually filled with newbs and leavers.

Ya, I always play AP. I only use Magnataur because he wrecks so hard. (Not really, but he's a beast)

When I ulti 4 of their heroes all the noobs on my team run away instead of killing them. Then they whine about me being a feeder because I ran into the middle of all their heroes. I like joining "Newbs only" games. Haha.

You guys use ventrilo right?

lool I bet you are the type the charges all the enemies at once by yourself at totally inappropriate times and then gets pissed at allies for not helping.

Maybe I am. Usually there is a huge battle goin' on in the middle, and I'll warn my teammates "Yo, gonna ulti get ready to blast them."

Like, if atleast 3 of my teammates are there already I'll use that dagger that ports me a little ways and ulti, drawing all there heroes in and making them vulnerable to all types of AoE attacks. If we kill them all that's pretty much game over in an AP.

yeah, I was just teasing, but I've had allies who'd do that. it's tough to get decent teamwork in pubbies, I usually just pick someone like anti-mage and headhunt by myself.
