University student is tased in an abuse of police authority

No matter how you feel about how this kid was asking to simply come up and remove him physically then tase him for not going "quietly" even though he was not resisting physically is completely out of line. The cnn article has the video of the initial contact.
Completely out of line.

Edit: sorry about the youtube part :P

The best part is when he says "Don't taze me!" and then he gets tased.

yes, the youtube clip is what happens later, one year ago, and across the country.

lol, "Abuse of police authority".

Last time I checked, being an uncooperative jackass, especially at a high-profile political event, can often lead to things like that. Its not like they shot the guy. He got his mic cut off and got pissed, then made a huge scene fighting off the people who were trying to escort him out of the forum. Its not like they beat his ass. A Taser is a little painful for a minute and then its all over.

C- post, even the politics thread on this doesn't think its a big deal.

This happened months ago and made the press around that time.

I will however provide a cliff notes of what this thread will devolve into:

"F the police"
"the police are doing there job, look he was resisting arrest"
"ya so what they didn't need to use unnecessary force"
"police are pigs"
"you are an idiot police are people, and are just doing a job, you say police suck but would be the first to call them when you need them."
"omg poltical crap"

One tased in Florida just doesn't have the same ring as four dead in Ohio.

The second video is a totally unrelated incident.

Interesting. So he got tased and arrested Monday in florida then was immediately teleported back a few months and 3000 miles away to ucla to get tased again. Really [censored] unlucky guy if you ask me.

You know when you see a guy and think "man i'd like to see that guy get tasered". That was the guy!

He reminds me of Mustafa:

I'm guessing that this will not be the last time in his life that fool gets himself tasered.

Based on the story, I love that the guy keeps asking "what did I do" when it seems reasonably clear exactly what he did.

I don't know if it's me getting old and turning republican despite my strong desire not to or what, but more and more I find myself just thinking the kids in these spots are toolboxes.

Re: University student is tased in an abuse of police authority

It's all over the news and even retarded fox news people are pointing out the kid is a tool. When cops are arresting you, you don't fight/struggle specifically in a high profile public place where any sort of physical violence might endanger the people around you that's just asking to be [censored] up by some cops.

We need a TASER and toolbox forum.
