Anyone have advice for the Monday night game? need to make up some ground after that saints lose. Need some help.

If I "had" to, I'd take Washington getting the points (+7 on Sportsbook). The under does look somewhat nice also. However, I'm staying away from this one.

I dont like the points spread at all
I like the UNDER i believe but also i see on Bodog that if i take The Redskins to win striaght up its +250

But i cant decide if im better off going with the Under on the game or Reskins for the Win forgetting the points

Very seriously, you two newbies need to think about going straight here. You both sound like you got in over your heads this weekend and are desperate to get out from a hole so you're looking to take bad bets for the quick fix.

Almost no one on this board which is filled with both BSPs and sharps has mentioned any line in this game they feel is worth betting. That's a pretty clear indication there's no real EV+ to be found, and I shouldn't have to be the one saying that betting to try to force your way even or at least start making up a loss is a horrible, horrible idea.

Seriously, get yourself REAL help. Real help is not suggestions on which team to bet to make up for huge losses.

Actually, I like WSH straight up, but that is a tough bet to make as a bailout play. Even getting 6-7.

I just don't see PHI winning by more than 7 if they win at all.

All the talk of "have to make it back tonight" etc etc is completely contrary to what we should want this forum to be about imo which mostly is discussion of +EV opportunities and methods in sports-betting.
Maybe that kind of silly talk is okay for the chatter thread though.

I saw in my spam folder that Sportsbook sent me an email claiming that 75% was on the under. Is this just a ploy to get more money on the under or is this legit?

so im not betting the game, however i am trying to learn how the sharps think.

so here is what i am wondering: the line opened at 6, got bet up to 7, and then back down to 6.5. based on covers.com at 7:19pm 59.75% are on the eagles. if the odds makers thought the redskins would not cover wouldn't the line have gone up or is 59.75% not enough to warrant that since 40% or so are on the skins?

I get what I consider reliable info from Sportsinsights. I just check covers/wagerline to make sure they arent claiming some [censored]...like 75% on the under.

I really like the Skins on that ML.
PHI isn't exactly a SB contender and WAS does seem to be getting a little better and certainly has a fighting chance in this game.

Options:
Moneyline: Skins have best value.
Point Spread: Eagles have most value

Also this is a case where if you like the Eagles teasing a 6.5 point favorite down to -0.5 has some argument for being a good bet. Its a lot better than betting the Eagles ML as well as its better than the consensus odds. If you can get +100 on 2 team 6 point teasers (BetPop etc.) then its not a bad play.

The bets I think are silly are Eagles ML and Skins +6.5 or even +7. +7.5 buying the points not so bad if at a decent price. I see 5 Dimes has them shaded to +106 I haven't tried to see the pricing on 1/2 points right now there but +7.5 -116 would not be bad either.
