Anyone on here ever been? as a marijuana lover it is my one day dream to go to the motherland, can anyone tell me the joyful experiences they have had over there?

its just awesome to sit in a coffee shop and all different ppl around you are smoking joints and bongs and you do it too in public without worrying.
your daily plan should look like

wake up,
next coffeeshop for breakfast and obv. joints
sit around, read newspaper, smoke joints
lunch at random frikandel fastfood thing
find new coffeeshop with 5-10 other hashes and weed, try half of them
pretty baked, check the nightlife (clubs etc)
chillout in your designated home coffeeshop

repeat.

I visited Amsterdam for the first time a little under a year ago. The place is incredible. It is without a doubt one of the coolest cities I've ever been to. There's so much stuff to do there aside from sitting in a coffee shop and smoking. If that's your plan, gotta hit up the grasshopper and then tour the heineken factory. Grasshopper's cool. Know that the coffee shops close early which is LAME. After 1am you buy your drugs on the street like the avg. american shmuck.

12 yr old dutch gin is disgusting.

Personally Vegas is more my speed. But I'm not a huge smoker so whatever.

absolutely; people in amsterdam (besides rowdy english tourists) are absolutely amazing, totally open-minded and relaxed and everything you could possibly want to fulfil all people-watching / random-conversation desires.

Go to a coffee shop named "BlueBird". It has an amazingly huge leather sofa and air vents, which are very rare in cofee shops.

Also, buy some shrooms with ur friends and take a train to a place called Keukenhof. Its a pretty big garden\forest with cool flowers in tons of colors and some animals. Eat them (not the animals) as you enter the garden and have the most amazing 4 hours of your life.

Don't do shrooms inside amsterdam - it sucks.

I'm not a big weed smoker, but the stuff I smoked in Holland was insane. I couldn't feel my legs after hitting a joint pretty hard in one of those "coffee shops". I couldn't get up because my lower body was numb.

for tourists? bad, real bad...... the stuff they sell on the streets in the red light district sometimes doesnt contain any at all [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] just baking powder or that dentist stuff that numbs your nose
