tp on wet board
vill is 21/11/1.2
i have a note on him: "slowplay the nuts", so i dont think he would play a flush like this PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) MP ($10) Hero ($28.30) Button ($24.10) SB ($36.20) BB ($16.80) UTG ($43.35) Preflop: Hero is CO with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. UTG raises to $1.25, 1 fold, Hero calls $1.25, 3 folds. Flop: ($2.85) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) UTG bets $2.5, Hero calls $2.50. Turn: ($7.85) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) UTG bets $7, Hero ? |
Re: tp on wet board
Consider re-raising pre-flop.
As played I'd probably fold the flop. Either fold or raise. I really hate calling to draw when I might be drawing dead. On the turn I'd most likely fold even though I hit. He is playing this very strongly. I dont think AQ is the best hand. If you had the best hand he'd probably check the turn. |
Re: tp on wet board
Just calling the flop made this hand alot harder to play.Even if you hit your diamond you dont know where you are.Fold or raise the flop and if he calls the raise just slow down on turn.

Re: tp on wet board
I don't think you really beat anything here. He opened UTG and keep betting hard. Seems more like an overpair here and you don't really want to pay $7 to see a brick river and get another potsized bet.

Re: tp on wet board
I would call and fold most rivers (not the Q or A ofc)

Re: tp on wet board
Villian doesn't seem the sort who would double barrel here without the goods. I'd fold.

I think this is proably the best line, I think folding this turn is a little timid, and raising just gets us called by better |

If you call here because you might be well ahead, what kind of river would you call and what kind would you fold to if he pots it? |
Re: tp on wet board
I call here and call any non-diamond river. I actually don't mind raising the turn either, because the naked Ad is a huge part of his range imo
|
Re: tp on wet board
This seems botched pretty badly. I think we are shown AA or KK with a diamond here. A set trying to protect against the 3-flush is also a candidate.
I can't see anything that we beat. He could possibly have AhT but I think a passive player shuts down on the turn and might not even be a part of his opening range. I don't think you belong in this pot and calling turn like others said is starting to make the pot big. |
Re: tp on wet board
I'd re-raise pre-flop almost always and would fold this flop most of the time (if not always)
On the turn you're passing the commitment threshold and I don't think you're committed and I don't think you should commit if a diamond falls on the river too. I think it's an relatively easy fold on the turn, as played. |
Re: tp on wet board
I'm 3 betting this PF in position. 90% of the time villain will check the flop to you, and you can decide how you want to proceed.
As played, I fold this flop. You really have no idea where you stand, with no shot at anything close to the nuts at this point. |
