IMHO thats not moderating out of forum since it affects every forum he posts in and therefore all of us collectivly. Worse case scenario someone slaps your wrists, says don't so it again.

Even though I am advocating taking the lead in situations like this I personally would not because I'd rather leave that to one of the guys in the other topic forums who have more experience in how to deal with these matters.

Is this an ascii penis-related emergency?

I thought moderating out of forum was for stuff like spamming gay porn.

This isn't a moderating out of forum issue, its an overruling another moderator issue. Diebitter and Lurker seem to be ok with the title. Based on the notes Diebitter is planning on removing the title so we'll just let him do it when he sees this.

umm, I was planning to remove it a while back, but I did this, to the amusement of Lurker, about 3-4 days before he went on his suicidal thing (the suicide thing shocked me as he'd seem so cool and pleased about the undertitle and gave no indication of anything to me other than a guy in good spirits).


I've been loath to change it since people in extreme states of mind can be set off by the littlest thing. I have been waiting to see him return to normal posting, which he is just moving into very recently.


Anyone got any info on his state of mind lately?

Hard to get worked up over something like this.

But if I must deem it to be something... it's not ok. Custom titles are given by the site in the end, which is a big part of why I don't allow anything insulting. Makes sense that this should be treated similarly.
