Pretty Big Brag
nah, no tatas in this one
so last year, i was like hey, you know what would be tight? I'll go on huge trip around the world and see what happens. Well, that trip starts on Tuesday. I'm hitting: LA SF Boston NY Dartmouth (ya i know but i go to school there) Jaco Beach Costa Rica (and other fine places in CR) London Scotland Fez, Morocco Spain (Seville, Barca) France (Paris, wherever else) Amsterdam Germany Prague Vienna Venice/Florence/Rome Possibly Greece too, if I decide I want to. So, if anyone has any suggestions and stuff, let me know. I'll also be writing about the trip as I go--including a fair amount of poker discussion--in the blog i made today. Check it out here. Also, if you're in one of these places and want to hang out, let me know. I think a few random drunk poker games might be necessary on this trip. oh and ok finneneee tatas http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n...8/rachelle.jpg peaaaaceeeee |

Re: Pretty Big Brag
ive been to most of western europe before, havent been to eastern europe yet
but over this next year i'm planning to go to korea, japan, china, india, laos, cambodia, vietnam, thailand, new zealand, australia -- those are the ones i'm certain of. i'm leaving at the end of this month and probably returning in february or march. then i'm planning to go to south america, starting in brazil and at least visiting peru, argentina and mexico on my way back up. i'm really excited about the trip. when i withdrew from law school to play poker, all i really wanted to be able to do was travel. now i'm set up where i am going to be able to do as much of that as i want, + bought a new car + set aside enough money to pay for the rest of my tuition. poker is a pain in the ass sometimes but even those of us who have only made a "decent" amount in poker are really lucky. hope you enjoy your trip baluga. are you planning to play a lot as you travel? or are you going to take the time off for the most part? just wondering. |
Re: Pretty Big Brag
i may play/coach some, but i'm not going to do it a lot because
A) i'm using most of my roll as cushion money for the trip B) i want to enjoy all of my time there |
Re: Pretty Big Brag
i was friends with your brother (dave) at dartmouth and could show you around sf if you want.

For those that lived in Barcelona (I can't remember who it was), any recs on places to hit at night?
Damn your going for 4 months, that's pretty sick. I wish I could, but higher education beckons. |
Re: Pretty Big Brag

Re: Pretty Big Brag
BW - I would leave greece out of the trip because its just a travel from even italy, unless you are flying of course
|
Re: Pretty Big Brag
sounds awsome man, if you decide to come to ireland let me know, I'll introduce you to some of my farm animal friends
|
Re: Pretty Big Brag
Jaco is pretty dirty, you'd be better off going to Porto Viejo or Guanacaste or some place with a nicer beach. Jaco is a good beach party town though, if you do go hit up Monkey Bar and Beatle Bar and check out the hookers.
If you want to party in San Jose or play some poker or something hit me up. |
Re: Pretty Big Brag
if ur going to berlin... let me know...
|
Re: Pretty Big Brag

Re: Pretty Big Brag
Just curious, whats your budget for the trip?
Also, make sure you hit up korea when you eventually get out to asia. Not to mention all the awesomeness that is southeast asia. |
Re: Pretty Big Brag
What are you expecting this trip to cost you? It sounds amazing

Re: Pretty Big Brag
while you're in spain try and visit alicante and valencia, pretty nice. If you're going to Italy you have to go down south to capri. Other than that, looks like you're going to have a great time.
btw, is this your 1st time around Europe? If you want suggestions for nightlife send me a pm |
