Re: NL50: Calling range vs unknown who pushes first hand

|

Re: NL50: Calling range vs unknown who pushes first hand
depends on his nick, avatar, and location.
'FalconsFan' from Atlanta with a picture of a baby is getting called a lot looser than 'ivaluebetu' from Moscow with an avatar from 'A Clockwork Orange'. |

Re: NL50: Calling range vs unknown who pushes first hand
"utg folds i assume"
Yeah, sorry I removed that. UTG adn BB folds, action back to me. "depends on his nick, avatar, and location" Hehe, the guy was from sweeden I think with default avatar. Nick = SvenAce1. |
Re: NL50: Calling range vs unknown who pushes first hand
TT+,AK
"I'd call with like A7s+, A9+, 66+, KJs+" Spew. 99+,AQs,AK might also be ok, and maybe a bit looser, but not much more..... |
Re: NL50: Calling range vs unknown who pushes first hand
Its just one hand I think you can afford to let it go without QQ+ or AKs, but even there he could be taking into account hes new and making some insanely stupid move with AA or KK.

Re: NL50: Calling range vs unknown who pushes first hand
It all really depends on how much you can handle the variance. Against this guy it might be profitable to call with 22+, T9o+ if he's shoving any hand.
Since its only the second time in 3 hands you shouldnt probably call that loose and narrow it down to 88+, QJ+. I guess it really depends on how much variance you can handle |
Re: NL50: Calling range vs unknown who pushes first hand
TT+, AQs+, AKo should do fine here
The skandinavian guy might like Gus Hanson and missunderstood what "loose-agressiv" actually means. (no, there are no winningplayers with babyavatas) |

88+, QJ+. [/ QUOTE ] QJ? Are u joking? Wtf fold that trash |
Re: NL50: Calling range vs unknown who pushes first hand
You have no reason to assume villain is pushing any two.
I think one of the ranges below below are fairly safe against an unknown. Basically you can pick your variance. Note that when adjusting your range adding a pair (77) is better than adding two broadway cards (KQ), and of course the reverse is true - subtracting AJ is better than subtracting 88. AK,AQ,AJ,88-AA 55.12% 10% 44.88% Hand Pot equity AK,AQ,TT-AA 59.96% 10% 40.04% |
Re: NL50: Calling range vs unknown who pushes first hand
Here's what happened:
I had JJ and folded. I have seen some 10-20 stacks sit down and do this with any two, but cant remember any 30+ do it. Thats what made the difference. I would have called QQ+,AK. The guy played 20 more hands and left. He didnt do anything unusuall during the rest of his hands. Its likely he got AA/KK the first hand and figured I would think he was pushing any two, and call light. If he had pushed the very next hand too my calling range would have been A8+,KQ, 66+. |
Re: NL50: Calling range vs unknown who pushes first hand
ak+
qq+ [ QUOTE ] You have no reason to assume villain is pushing any two. [/ QUOTE ] is true IMO. I mean if he like shoves 2 hands in a span of an orbit than I am calling him superlight |
