aka Star Trek: The Next Generation 4, Mish Mash style

I have not worked out the specifics

but there will be an evil faction. and a borg faction that assimilates people throughout the game. and some villagers. last faction standing wins. There will be plenty of subplots and stuff so that everyone has other stuff to do other than just vote for people. And to keep things simple to understand, I just won't tell you what anyone is doing unless it directly relates to you. And Q will be in the game and his win condition will somehow be related to creating havoc. Sounds like fun amirite?

I won't run this without 30+ players.

Evil Faction - not sure what they will be
- 6-7 members
- will have various roleblocking, votebuying types of powers
- secret subplots to be determined
- gets to kill each night

Borg Faction
- starts with one member, the Borg Queen
- may assimilate one player per night starting n0 - this player loses the game (except the n0 convert), but is assigned a secondary win condition of winning with the Borg
- ability to assimilate will be restricted in some manner to preserve game balance
- there will be some incentive to find and assimilate Captain Picard. I have some ideas, but I may want to keep the details secret
- Borg can chat 24/7
- assimilated players retain all of their previous powers, including masonries. Once I actually come up with all those powers, I may have to make some exceptions to this rule, but only when necessary to keep the game stable

Starfleet Faction
- basic villager faction, ~20 members
- vigilante, vote buyer, partial seers, side plots, etc

Independents
- Q, secret powers and win condition
- Lore, no idea what he's gonna do

Side Plots:
secret, obviously. I don't intend these to be separate win conditions, but rather they will just provide benefits to your faction if completed successfully

I suggest the win/loo condition under the Borg go like this.

You Win/lose with your original team no matter what. However if you get assimilated you have a sworn duty to help the Borg (even if it hurts your chances of your team winning.) It's the only way to get around this problem...

People that got possesed by me in Shortlines Mish Mash game basically had to do this...

you still get a second win condition of winning with the Borg, so if you get assimilated and the Borg win you get one loss and one victory

certain powers and subplots will likely involve in some way protecting against assimilation and there needs to be some incentive to use them
