Slow Game Two: GRUDGE MATCH Signup Thread
 

This is for a long, slow game like the one that just ended. Here is the proposed format:

1. Days will be two days long, EXCEPT for day 1, which will start Tuesday morning at 9 EST and run until that night at 10 EST. This means night will fall on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday nights.

2. Game will run with a minimum of 13 players and a maximum of 19.

3. If we hit 19 players, roles will be: 1 seer, 3 regular wolves, 1 wolf with a revenge kill that works on any player that voted to lynch him, and 1 villager with a revenge kill that works on any player, period.

Comments on format are welcome!

i dont like how revenge kills create an even # of players so i vote no on it, but ill go without whatever VR decides cause she is smarter than i am

I thought it went pretty well, but I'm biased. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Village rolled to victory, but even with some pretty intense days in there, it ended up just over 1100 posts for the whole game (as opposed to 800 posts the first day) and participation was good. People like roundtower and clown who have timezone issues were able to be more active then usual, and most people posted every day, even though majority lynch was always in effect and day ended very early twice.

Excellent point. I'll do it this way then: I'll have one of them getting their kill trigger the other. One wolf gets a revenge kill from among the people that voted to lynch him. The person they revenge kill ALSO gets a revenge kill, which can be from anyone they choose. Revenge kill can not be used in must-lynch.

That way, there will always be an odd number of players alive.

Yeah timezone stuff was a nonissue this game (except for being around during lynches).
