I must admit that the fact that I got my ass kicked repeatedly may have had a hand in souring me to this game.

i think you may have gotten involved too many times with the 2nd best high hand, which is a pretty big no no

3 times this game I started with 3 baby diamonds, picked up the flush + low draw and missed, the last one was painful and I probably invested too much on 3rd that caused me to chase books' better low draw
