Well we did white and black, so now it's Grey.

Post all off topic or no content type things in here, as long as they are within the rules.

Mods feel free to change name of title.

Actually start it off with another hand I think I played bad..

Villain is 26/14/7 and I thought I had some FE but now I just think I'm an idiot, and played it wrong. He was obv. committed, and was felting regardless

26/14/7 in a BvB situation isn't a good enough read? Obv he had been aggro but that is kind've obv. with his stats.

I decided tonight that I want to try coke sometime and all my friends were terified. None of them want to do it ever. I found a poker mentor though and he's sick, HoldemPhil. I'm gonna be at least as good as anyone here in 3 months time.

lol I had a table break with me sitting on a 200bb stack so I stay at the table, big fish sits, we go back and forth for 35hands or so, with nothing happening, just small pots

some shortstacker sits, I try to get HU, because A its higher EV for me, and B 3handed with fish/shortstacker is about the most frustrating lineup possible

he gets stacked, leaves, new shortstacker sits, I ask again, he leaves, old shortstacker sits. I ask for HU again, he is in the SB and goes "Give me the blind and I leave" so I fold my BB

[censored] stays, another guy sits with like 45bb, douche gets upto like 60 and leaves, but 2mins later he's back at the table with the minimum. Im not sure how since stars has a half hour wait, but [censored] him

Im pissed and going to quit in an orbit, here is my sb hand

justice I guess, though I was doomswitched at .5/1 so meh session even with this monster pot

I needed $280 variance free dollars(well near variance free 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]s would have sucked an insane amount

I think it was a mistake as well, but it has generated some good discussion

I also don't think I had 0% FE either. I am running 16/13 or so, and he is v. aggro so he def. could be double barreling, which makes it a marginal play no matter what I do I guess..

PS. I am officially pissed off after dropping 10 buyins, and now have to drop back to nl50

Every bluffy c-bet getting called, every set is folded to, every decent hand gets either sucked out on by the river or gets duplicated, their kings are cracking my Aces preflop, every two bottom pairs when I know he's got top pair gets effed over by turn: Ace + river: Ace, no draws are hitting or if they do the board pairs and I run into a boat/quads, and even nut flushes are getting busted by straight flushes pulled out of their ass.

I knew I shouldn't have withdrawn on Wednesday.

Bugger.

gotta agree - he is an embarrassment to the art of set mining (which is embarrassing anyway).

I expected this months thread to be called the pink flamingo.

I am also now 8 buyins up today, but still in a 10 buyin downswing at Full Tilt. F You tilt!

Goal for the month:

Find out if there is such a thing as a grey swan.

[/ QUOTE ]

A young black swan is grey, if that counts :P

(Stupid American Firefox, telling me that 'grey' is spelt wrong)

Out of the 50k very early.

First level and my table is playing quite agressive, especially with a couple of players sitting out. Lots of steals and resteals going on.

A very active player opens again and I repop with AK. A player behind me moves in, and I figure I have enough equity for the call. Of course he has aces.
