This isn't going to help but:

- It all depends on what she likes. Every woman is different.

- Unless your other is a complete and total evil bitch, she'll be happy with the fact you bought her jewelry at all.

I agree with this, just buy her a nice peice of ordinary jewelry then after a few years buy her some really nice tiffany jewelry for her birthday or something.

Get her something nice but not from Tiffany. She'll be happy to get anything at all, save Tiffany for your 10th anniversary or when you are trapped in a loveless marriage.

I gotta say, while I love the idea of you giving your woman jewelery, both of those necklaces suck.

Unless she's into designer names, why go to Tiffany's??? You can get a much nicer necklace with a diamond or something from Zale's for the same price as the ones you pictured.

(Personal female note: I really hate those, they're icky looking, JMO)

That reminds me. I went on a two week holiday trip, and my girlfriend asked me to get one of those miniature London double-decker bus models for her. I forgot to do so.

To make it up to her, I bought a family size pack of Reese's peanut butter cups as a present. She was even madder.

Girls are hard to understand sometimes, I feel for you OP.

traditionally paper is the first anniversary present.

photo album/collage
book of poems
paper airplane
money
construction paper chain

you get the idea, besides is she planning no buying you something expensive. Remember it's your anniversary too not just hers.

1 year is plenty long enough to start giving jewelery as long as you understand that from this point forward every occassion will now require buying more jewelery.

Also, those two necklaces are not good. Find something a lot simpler with a diamond.

Solid. A different way of saying what I was about to. Drop these gold-(diamond?)digging hoez if there is ever any issue besides the niceness of buying somebody a heartfelt present.

no but i am going to marry her... The main reason for getting her a necklace is she was wearing one an X got her. IT has no meaning just matches all the stuff she has from her family... she isn't wearing it anymore once i found out who it was from just cause i asked her to.

I figured you were married. Since you are not than anything goes, just remember that if you get her something nice the first year you are required to out do yourself each year. so..good luck with that.
