Nothing really to report. Started M2, much harder than M1 but much more interesting. I think I can really shake the online poker from my system for good this year...after the WCOOP of course...

Really can't wait for Fall either, it's my favorite season I think. DC is gross in the summer, I don't think I could possibly live here once I graduate...

meh. I was expecting worse. I guess I've been a bit desensitized as we had a 2 hour forensic pathology slide show this morning which basically just consisted of them being like

I just integrated the yahoo color picker, like this one into the app I'm working on, and styled to look awesome, in a couple hours. I am a programming rock star. If there were any justice in the world I should be able to use that to get laid.

But sadly, women's priorities are totally out of whack.

I think I could watch the Nature episode on snow leopards 2 or 3 times. Such beautiful cats and incredible scenery. Inspiring.

Did you check out the forest episode of Planet Earth? It wasn't the focus, but they did a bit on the Northern forests that are covered in snow a good portion of the year and there is some excellent footage of some sort of snow cat, probably a leopard.

(posted here because i think it will get more quality discussion in this thread than if i made a thread all about it in EDF)

I dont know how many posters here fit a persoality similar to mine, but I'd imagine it's a lot - smart with a lot to say over the internet, but on the introvert side in public (especially with new people).

Usually after a couple of months with a girl, or as little as a few weeks, I hit a brick wall where I cant spontaneously think of new things to talk about with a girl other than what they've done today.

Does one actively go about ways to combat this, or just assume that one day they will meet a girl where this problem doesn't happen?


- Additionally how much emphasis in your relationships do you put on being able to carry long conversations with your significant other? If you were to be dating a girl where you click well, but aren't able to talk about much (and assume your dating partner is cool with this), could you feasibly make a commitment with that? Assume you fit the introverted model of personality.

My parents are getting a house in shape to sell (LOL BADTIMINGAMENTS) and had some painting done close on the 4th of July. They just got the phone bill, and there were $150 worth of long distance calls made on 7/2 and 7/4. WTF [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]

I was just checking on the George RR Martin's website. It appears that HBO isn't doing anything with the series for Song of Ice and Fire, and it is a real possibility that HBO will lose the option. This is sad news for me.
