20/40 at borgata, best in the country??
 

In the past 6 months, the 20/40 limit at borgata has absolutly EXPLODED!!! From thurs-sun you can find as many as 8 games running at once, with just as much action. There is so much dead money it is rediculous, almost too much. Ive seen people peel off 2-5k in this game in under 4 hours. Its almost too lose and makes it very difficult to play in. If you enjoy big action limit games, then this is prob the best in the country

anyone have something to add, or neone play in vegas and AC who could compare? ne way long story short, 20/40 at borgata has become a joke and i reccomend it to everyone

I never play limit but have played in all the big casinos around the country. The only place I have heard people talk about the limit games being consistently amazing is Commerce in LA. The running for best overall is probably between Borgata and Commerce.

well to be honest theres not a great amount of high limit at borgata, but man that 20/40 game just keeps growing and growing. Maybe people r getting wealthier n like to play bigger games, or the 10 20 people r moving up, but it just seems everytime im there the 20/40 is rediculous

Its a great game, but not the best in the country... many west coast rooms kill the Borg.

20/40 game @ foxwoods plays pretty similar from what I have observed.

no idea on that one have never been to there. think alot of east coast casinos use red chips for the 20/40 and really helps the action IMO. 5/10 and 10/20 @ foxwoods are not nearly as juicy as the 20/40 but also not as aggressive.

im assuming you mean if the games are good there as you follow the tournament trail gobbo? if so foxwoods is juicy during tournament time but you prob already know that.

Not 21 yet, but I'm just curious. Him saying the games are crazy loose and best games evar, but everyone says the games at Canterbury have to be the best, so I'm interested in a comparison of the two.

I haven't played that much this summer, but I've never seen more than 5 20-40 games, and the games play the same way they did two years ago.

I played the 20-40 a ton in 2003-2004 at Foxwoods and the games were not 'great' - decent enough for east coast. Borgata blew it away. 100 time more action and worse players.

Then I spent time in Cali... um... yeah. Commerce, Bay 101... all I can say is look out. I was involved in a $2400 pot at 20-40 with outs to the nut flush on river and missed. Very next hand I took down a $1500 pot with j22 flop and me with JJ...

Obviously the swings can be killer, but the Cali games are still the best in the country.

Haven't been to the East coast in quite some time so not sure if anything has changed.

Unfortunately I am now stuck in no mans land for poker - Michigan. 3 casinos and 20-40 goes once or twice a week. 15-30 rotation same thing. 5-10 no limit biggest game really. So sad.
