I'm not raising the flop after UTG2 smooth calls. After calling the flop if the turn action went bet, raise I would fold. As played you can fold the river without a second thought your never ever good here.

Fold preflop.

i dont limp with trap hand at middle possition (only at late i do)

flop i also raise we have probably the best hand and BB can bet weaker Q , FD or trips 6.

turn - since BB dont raise here i think he dont have trips and i also dont think that ugt has better hand then our 2 top pair cus he dint raise flop
i would 3bet turn for value

PF, I limp since I figure most of the other players have bad cards or bad skills.

Flop, I play the same. BB may have us out kicked, but not necessarily since he has a random hand which can include a lot worse queens. Also, if with two people in, BB and UTG+2, I'd raise to also get value from flush draws and/or those worse queens.

Turn, UTG+2 played it exactly like 6x, but you have odds to call for a 4-outer.

River, I probably call as well since the pot is big, but you aren't ahead very often.

Re: QJo - 6Q6 - Something is wrong here, I don\'t belong here

Since we have no reads and also no information about the table dynamic I probably fold this preflop (but then I am a little tight so QJo doesn't have much appeal to me)

As Played: I like the flop raise.
Turn bet is appropriate ... UH OH did UTG+2 slowplay trips on the flop? (most probable) Or maybe make a set w/JJ? (doubtful) I don't think he raises here if he hit Jx or found a draw. Lets call it though. If we are behind (and we often are IMO) we have 4-6 outs and getting 10:1

I call down as you did. He has to have the 6 (probably does) or a set to beat us, QJ to chop, and MP3 isn't beating us so lets call.

River? Do we win here 1 in 12 or so (BB is not raising. He is toast here). I think so at .25/.50 (Thats where I play a lot and I see lots of strange plays from unknowns so I make a crying call on the river.)

I think this is the most interesting hand ever prefaced with an Uncle Kracker lyric.

I am not so sure that I would call the river.

I am fine with the rest of the hand as played.

Re: QJo - 6Q6 - Something is wrong here, I don\'t belong here

I would usually fold pre-flop.

on the flop i think a call or raise is ok.

The turn i would prefer to check (but might bet/fold out of habit!)to see the river for free.

Then hopefully we get to see our opponents cards for one bet at most but risk being caught inbetween the BB and utg+2 if they start a raising war.

This isn't a good strategy. If we are raising the flop, it's because we think we have the best hand. The turn was an excellent card for us. There is no reason to not bet, especially with flush draws being in both opponents ranges.

:g:

If I'm playing I'm raising pf, depends on the cast of charaters tho. I wouldnt hate a fold and a call is fine too.... gee, I relayed a lot of information in that sentence didnt I? Maybe.... raise>>call>fold?

I raise the flop and call turn with 4 outs. I'm calling the river but I hate it.

The turn may have been an excellent card for us, but we still may be way behind, and our position, if we raise leaves us trapped inbetween two opponents. You may be right that checking is bad strategy, but i think in this case, the money saved by not betting (because of a threat of a re-raise) is better. It is possible the BB is slow playing the trips because there are two people doing the betting for him. I dont think we are ahead, i think we are drawing. And by keeping the pot smaller, if a raising war does erupt on the river, we have the option to get out.

Don't play off-suite cards in a bad position.

As played fold the river, your hand is never good

I don't think this is true. It may not be good often enough to call here, but I think there are times that he has something funny like an overpair or just a bluff.

One guy bet/called the flop and one guy call/called the flop. Either could have a queen with a kicker that we now beat, or a flush draw or an underpair, or ace high. Reading that action as us being behind is MUBSy.
