Wish me luck Im in a big fishing tourny this weekend. $5000 to the winner and an $18000 boat to the team with the most points in the tourny series (we are 5th in points out of ~50 boats with 2 tournys left to go).

This time tomorrow I will be 80-100 miles away from any land mass. Cant wait.

Thanks for the advice on lures but we are fishing for grouper. So baits will be in the 3-5lb range. The tourny is based on a 3 fish weight and during prefishing there was a guy that weighed 112lbs. Our goal is to make the top 5 due to points so we are aiming for 50-60lbs. We will use lures bigger than spinner baits to catch bait.
