3/6 So many good options, but which one is best?
3/6NL. 600 stacks.
I, 24/16 in CO w/ Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 20/15 reasonable TAG on BTN. PF: I raise to 21, BTN calls, blinds fold. Flop ($51): 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I bet $42, BTN calls. Turn ($135): 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I... ($535 each to play) |

c/rai

Re: 3/6 So many good options, but which one is best?
yup i like a c/rai as well. you could lead for like 115, but i don't like it nearly as much as c/r

Re: 3/6 So many good options, but which one is best?
I'm assuming it's 4 handed. If he's a reasonable TAG I would say his range of hands that made it to the turn are AQ, KQ, QJ, Q10, J10, 99-AA to a lesser extent, but quite possible depending on his reraising range PF and his view of you and what you're raising range is.
So basically you're really ahead of 1 hand here up to 3 if you include 10s and Js. The turn is a decent card for you because you pick up a draw and have chances to chop w/ QJ, and KQ. Given this board I doubt villain will fold any of the hands that are currently beating you so I would check and see what he does and call a reasonable turn bet of up to the pot. But take this with a grain of salt because I play live full ring. |

Re: 3/6 So many good options, but which one is best?
CC probably isnt horrible

Re: 3/6 So many good options, but which one is best?
I'm not sure what crai accomplishes.
|
Re: 3/6 So many good options, but which one is best?
What should he call with?
C/C imo |
Re: 3/6 So many good options, but which one is best?
c/r ai > c/c >>>> anything else
|
Re: 3/6 So many good options, but which one is best?
if he can call you with 88/fold KQ then crai is good. o/w it seems like you're doing it to avoid an awkward river spot.

[/ QUOTE ] If I check/call, it's with the intention of betting a T, Q, or spade or folding to a river bet (he'll give up when behind a fair bit I assume). If you're villain and you hold KQ, do you call a c/r AI and equally importantly, how often do you bet when checked to? |
Re: 3/6 So many good options, but which one is best?
i dont generally like to c/rai here, it turns your hand into a naked flush draw with maybe some kicker outs. its a pretty obvious option when nothing else seems good, but its not a great option.
c/c works alright and without committing your stack, you just have to do some thinkin on the river. |
Re: 3/6 So many good options, but which one is best?
bet?
|
Re: 3/6 So many good options, but which one is best?
i'd usually check KQ, but i see alot of people advising players to bet pps/Qs here for whatever reason (in ssnl anyway) so i imagine some tags would bet this turn quite a bit with most of their range. Could be wrong.
Just throwing some ideas out there in the last post really. |
Re: 3/6 So many good options, but which one is best?
CC > CRAI
|
Re: 3/6 So many good options, but which one is best?
CRAI > CC > Bet/Call

i cant imagine he calls a crai with anything we beat. can someone explain why they like it? [/ QUOTE ] u can use that argument for nearly any hand you might cr. that doesnt mean its not an effective play. of course hero doesnt want a call, but has outs if so. |
Re: 3/6 So many good options, but which one is best?
cc or bf are safe moves. cr more risky but can work if think hes weak

|
Re: 3/6 So many good options, but which one is best?

|
Re: 3/6 So many good options, but which one is best?
