You guys have asked for these so I will finally oblige. i don't really love these things as they are just ego boosters to many people but i'll let you guys jerk each other off for a little bit.

Rules: No outing 2p2/poker site sns and the like- don't flame, don't be douchebags. pretty simple. keep this discussion flame free and we won't have a problem.

i'll leave these up for a week or so and then i'll lock them.

be sure to state the limit of which reg(s) your discussing.

feel free to PM me on any Qs or what not and i'll try to moderate these as closely as possible.

Thoughts on bonlins? I thought he was good until I saw a hand today where he checked AQ in the BB after a couple limpers and slowplayed an AxAss flop.

i havent played with soros in maybe 3 months, but i remember him being hard to play against.

vaesolis is by far my least fav reg to have on the tables.
and ldonnie is up a shitton vs me/overall too.

Weaktight, luckbacon, catcher, legspin, bigrob, adam001. All good players who have success higher who you might as well avoid at 1/2. Honorable mention to chillywilly and el_pedrino. Lol I make such good lurker fodder.

In an effort to make a contributing post in this thread, I looked at 550k hands of 1/2. I have 3k+ hands played with 81 players. 41 are 'losers', 15 are marginal winners, and 25 are 2.0+ptbb/100 'winners'. I have come to the conclusion that it seems the players who I think are good are 'losers' or are marginal winners, and the players I think are bad are also 'losers'. In fact most of the players who have or do play higher than 1/2 are 'losers' in my DB. Out of the 25 'winners' I think 12 are solid. Intersting thing is only 2 of the 'winners' have a PFR of 18+.

anybody have any thoughts on .5/1 regulars? I haven't been playing .5/1 that long so I don't have that many hands on people.

I have the most hands on sm0kelm but he's not up much.

Kingofclubz has semi-donkish stats (like 30/9) but is up a bunch and I see him all the time would like some others' opinions on him.

I have a lot of trouble w/ agstremist as well. He seems really aggressive and is constantly playing back at me.

also ibakepie is winning a decent amount but he seems pretty tight/straight forward. any thoughts?

I just played a week or two at Stars 200NL 6max.
Being staked by a friend, trying to play solid some of the time, and spewing hard at night when I'm way too tired. There are some tricky players to watch out for, but they can be ID'd relatively quickly. Most of the regs at this level play TAG and straightforward.

The dragons off the top of my head are:
RikDaytton(sp)
Fgators
BGnight

greg1osu & Lucky_Wins are solid
there's more but these are the all I can think of atm. they seem to give me the most trouble.

I really have no reasoning, was just looking 'cause I was curious. What makes a player good? It certainly is not their winrate. Is it the players who you see with all the big stacks? Is it that they give you trouble or annoy you? Is it that they 'outplay' you with regularity? Or is it more simply that they play solid and don't make mistakes?

The 2 winners with a PFR of 18+ are carrotsnake and mdom

Off the top of my head the best players without looking at PT.

LanderD (semi-regular splits his time between 1/2 and 2/4 I think)
Tecknowledgy (sure that's spelled wrong without looking at PT, but I'm pretty sure he plays FR and 6 max so good when he plays)
Carrotsnake (probably not as good as his "legendary" status indicates and definitely not as spewy as I thought he would be, but obv good)
Have 0 hands with legspin
Mdom is really good, but he's playing almost all 2/4 now
Greg1osu is super easy to play against (DON'T PAY HIM OFF LDO!)
ZngelDay[9] IMO the best regular playing 1/2 full time
Ldonnie is good too
Dayninja I pretty much avoid sitting to my left

Bigrob I thought was a weak/tight nit when we played 5/1. He really improved and annoyed the [censored] out of me when I was playing 2/4.

Luckybacon is good, but I seem to play very well versus him.

Obv lucky_wins <3 stop being a nit [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

weak tite is perma at 2/4 I think now

this is actually a decent time for this thread since i played higher most of the summer and lower for a week or so and am just getting back to 1/2. ill throw a list out off the top of my head i guess
