These pf percentages are unexpected...
I had KK and won this hand with the case K, which is the reason I ran this:
equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 77.232% 77.13% 00.11% 1057202 1454.33 { AcAd } Hand 1: 09.831% 09.40% 00.43% 128801 5960.83 { KdKh } Hand 2: 12.937% 12.50% 00.43% 171375 5960.83 { Ks9s } |

You can hit your case king, your one 4-flush, or split with K9 for the straight, that's it. K9 can win with a flush, 2 9s, QJT, or a 4-straight to his 9. He has more possibilities. |

Re: These pf percentages are unexpected...
i don't see what's unexpected about this
|
Re: These pf percentages are unexpected...
I guess my dilemma is that KK vs K9s is such a dominating hand that it seems counter-intuitive that the presence of AA would all of a sudden put K9s ahead of KK.

Re: These pf percentages are unexpected...

I guess my dilemma is that KK vs K9s is such a dominating hand that it seems counter-intuitive that the presence of AA would all of a sudden put K9s ahead of KK. [/ QUOTE ] A hand of poker is winner take all. It doesn't matter that KK beats K9 most of the time, because KK also has to beat AA. Put another way, in AA v KK v K9, KK will be second best hand a ton, but first only rarely. K9 will be the weakest hand the most often out of the three, but is more likely to be first than KK is. Since best hand is the only one that gets paid, K9 has more equity. *Excluding splits. |
Re: These pf percentages are unexpected...
Ok, "uncle" you cutthroat probability bastards.
K9s called with 4:1 pots odds, so that was a good call right? |
