Once you choose your movie, all memory of film/the concept of a movie will be erased from your brain(everything else you know stays).

The movie you choose will be the only movie you will ever see for the rest of your life but you will be allowed to watch it as much as you like.

I am going with Lost in Translation.

not because it is the best movie of all time or that it is even my all time favorite, but because it blends a lot of elements that are foreign to me, is funny and romantic, and has an ending that has infinite possibilites.....oh and Scarlett Jo. to look at.

that is my choice, i could live with it. J.

I just absolutely love this movie. It may not be my favorite movie ever, but it's one I think I could definitely watch a lot of times because it's funny, sorta light, and not super-long.

J: I really like Lost In Translation, but I think I would be really sad all the time if it were the only movie I could watch.

Almost everyone I know did not like it that much after the first viewing, but by the fifth everyone thinks it is the best movie of all time. Yeah, but I thought the parameters of this hypothetical were that you can only watch one film for the rest of your life and all memories of other films are erased. I'd pick The Big Lebowski too, precisely because it's so rewatchable.
