I will be there. I talked to Jurollo about this idea at WSOP; I think this would be great. IRC is so much better than AIM for community building.

another way to get in is use the following

www.chat.efnet.org

then type /join ____ (channel)

Might be because someone from your IP area has been doing nasty stuff. Go to www.efnet.org and check out the list of other servers you can use (servers link on top).

I'm such a geek that I still use IRC regardless. I'm even more of a geek cause I really wanna point out that it's not an mIRC channel, but an IRC channel.

How to use da IRC in Firefox, by Soulman.

* Tools menu --> Add-ons
* Click 'Get extensions'
* Search for 'Chatzilla' and install it
* You now have a menu item under 'Tools' named Chatzilla. Select it and a new window pops up.
* In the Chatzilla window, click on the 'efnet' link
* If you feel adventurous, click on the help link to actually learn a bit about the usage of IRC
* All commands in IRC start with /.
* After the log-on process is complete, use /nick to choose your wanted nick. Preferably this should be the same as your 2+2 nick, e.g. /nick Soulman.
* Type /join #HSMTT (all channels are proceeded by the # character) and you're in. Start chatting away!

If someone wants me to do one for mIRC, holla.
