\"Fold BB to Steal HU\" discussion
 

I don't understand exactly what it is.
Does it mean: Folded to the SB, who open-raises, and BB folds.

Because in this situation, I play almost always, as stated in Fromm's DVD. Since a few weeks I adjusted but I still play almost 90% of my hands in this position.
But my "Fold BB to Steal HU" is around 40%. So what's that??
BTW, my "fold BB to steal" is around 50%.

I just started to think about that because I read p.89 of WITHG, and it's not clear for me.

A steal raise includes CO and Button as well.

When I sort for "steal attempted and called/reraised HU" in PT I get hands that includes ANY steal raise where I call it and its HU.

So as far as my PT works they are wrong in WITHG when they claim that that stat only covers spots where you call your BB vs a SB steal

wow really? I thought it only applied to SB vs BB steals. so folded BB to steal includes situations like button raises, SB calls, hero folds?

i already know it sd when button and co open raise = steal blind.
i think if sb call the open raise of button it s same

Unless I am a complete moron, yes.

I made that filter and I got a hand where Button raised and I called in the BB HU.

I just searched through the PT.com forum and yes that's how it works; if anyone opens from the CO button oor SB and it gets folded to your BB, that counts towards "folded BB to steal HU". if anyone else calls it counts towards "folded BB to steal"

I think my FBBTSHU is like 30-35% or so, perhaps I am overdefending.

I don't know a single player who would fold nearly 50% of his hands in the BB against a SB steal...


Is there anybody who think that "Folded BB to steal HU" could be a better stat, compared to "Folded BB to steal", to know if we should steal against the player in the BB.
