Should be interesting tomorrow. Rory did well to hold it together after that horrendous first hole, and even had a couple of putts down the stretch take sharp turns at the cup. Can't see anyone but him or Tiger winning, would take a bad day by both and a huge day by someone, and really only Kenny Perry is reasonably within reach from what I remember.

Also, LOL at poor Zach Johnson at 9. That was a friggin nightmare.

Guys, simple. When Kostis was interviewing Tiger yesterday, he mentioned some storms on the way. So they'll just bump up the tee times by x hours in order to get done today or to allow time for rain delays. You'd rather watch delayed and have them finish today than have a Monday finish, wouldn't you? I thought so. Just try not to get spoiled by seeing an online leaderboard or coming to this thread if some dick posts the scores.

No, I don't watch when it's tape delayed. At least as much. I deliberately try to find out the result. If I think something amazing happened I will try to watch a little. To me sports should be televised live. If I wanted a highlight package I'll take it condensed. I hate it when they do that. I won't post the spoilers though. [img]/images/graemlins/smirk.gif[/img]

Sure, I'd prefer it live too, but no way a network is going to monkey their entire schedule just to make the minority happy (meaning, I'm sure the overwhelming majority of viewers are casual and would prefer it in its regular time slot).

They're going off in threesomes, and the leaders just got through the first hole (teeing off four hours earlier than yesterday, wow), and it's fair to post a mini-spoiler that the first hole result was hot. I'm not really a big golf fan..I at least know that it's the WGC Bridgestone Invitational this week tho. I was watching the Golf Channel hoping maybe they'd show some live coverage..then they posted the scores through the 10th hole..heh.

Would be nice tho if CBS when they started their coverage just jump right into live...but oh well they have a 5 hour time slot to fill.

gotta love rory, apparently as he head toward the 10th tee, a fan yelled "more beatable than ever!", this was after Tiger chipped it in for par and Rory doubled. Rory proceeded to ask security to "get him out of here" with an expletive.

At least show up to play Rory christ...at least he's beaten Tiger 1 out of 3 times..the law averages is just going to catch up to him of course!

Haha well i know for sure that they went out early because of bad weather at the Wachovia asi worked the range and had huge lights brought in to be put up along the range thenight before so the players could practice in the dark because the first tee time went off in the dark. I think the leaders were done before 12.

Yes, Rory's one "victory" was when they were paired in the final round together in the 1996 NCAA. Rory beat Tiger on the final round, but still lost to Tiger by 4 strokes overall so whoop-de-do.
