Been on vacation most of july so only 8K hands.

Up 5 BIs... Oh well, better than down i guess.

you were prob just running bad when you took a shot at 100NL. Even i was able to beat massively...

i started the month at 10nl and moved up to 20nl. I took a shot at 50nl and i made 4 bi playing/running good, just to loose 5 bi the next day playing terrible.Got coolered for the rest of the month at 20nl. I had to cash out most of my br and school starts in a week.
It was still my best month ...

i didnt run near as hot as last month. the first huge drop is some guy at 5NL doing flips for like 30 minutes. i couldnt win any of them with premium hands and ended up down 1BI. i took a lot of coolers this month and went down to 2NL to do tilt flips and lost 3BI there once. i chased a lot at 25NL when i got fed up with donks so my bb/100 isnt near what it should be but i did come out +100 again.

goals for next month, play more hands although i probably wont be able to since i'll be gone for 1.5 weeks. no more tilt flips. crush 5NL for 20+BB/100 so i can move up to 10NL and own them.

TBH, I dont really see any big swings. Breakeven stretches =/= swingy. Its still a fairly steady line upwards [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

NL100+RB+Bonus=$1800

Right around 3k month after starting -700!


AUGUST GOALS:

Be a motha [censored] grinder, pwn NL50 when bored, pwn NL100 when I want to play solid poker. $$$$$$$$$$$$

goal for July was 60 buyins at nl50=== 3k, I came pretty close thanks to a sick heater at the end of the month, but It just made up for how bad I ran the rest of the month

things are going better now thanks to the last 4-5 days, i've had some of my biggest pots ever at nl50 where people are basically just giving me $.

Also, I was 9 tabling but I cut it down to 6 and my winrate has doubled, so I think im gonna stick with it awhile, even though im only 15k vpp's away from supernova.

lately, i've started mixing 100NL in but i don't know if i can handle the swings yet so i'm playing 50NL with a 20k BR. sad, i know.

mine are that I run like cancer at 100nl stars, so im either skipping it and moving to 200nl in september or im playing 100nl somewhere else like full tilt. I have insta 6 buyin downswings everytime at 100nl at stars and i play good. Also, I take half of my profits out of poker at the end of every month, but mostly im just really prone to tilt and if i start running bad higher up I could chunk off a large portion of my role, well not really, but im making like 35 an hour at nl50 right now, I have no desire to move up, but am going to try to soon anyways

ps. my roll is at 18k, so I think that is pretty funny that we both nit up nl50.

yes also i only play poker part time because I have a very good job right out of college, probably the reason im not a badass and putting in 100k hands a month.

i used to play a ton of husng's sng's and mtt's early in my poker career, and also after the neteller bust since my stars roll was very small, im so happy to be getting my neteller $ this week btw.

yea it's scary how similar we are.

i'm also winning 35-40/hr at NL50 but if i move up to 100NL i have to reduce my MT ratio to like 8 so i'd be making like 50/hr. since i'm a nit, i don't know if the 10/hr is worth all the stress. plus i'd be prone to tilt like you said.

i've been known to go donk it up at 1KNL from time to time [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img].

i used to be real bad about chasing my losses/ playing outside of my roll when i was like 19.

ive probably played 10khands&lt; at 2000nl and 30k hands at 1000nl, but in the last 2 years I haven't played higher than 400nl.
