When you withdraw, check your account details very carefully!

I just did my Neteller withdrawal. Although I still have the same bank account associated with Neteller that I have always had, and I never had any difficulty prior to January 18th in making electronic deposits or withdrawals, the bank information that was presented to me for verification today was inaccurate. The bank account number that Neteller showed me was missing two digits and the routing number was completely wrong. As much as I would have preferred receiving my money via EFT, I opted for Neteller to send me a check.

A word to the wise: make absolutely certain that the account information that Neteller asks you to verify is 100% accurate!

I just went there and withdrew my remaining funds. It makes me so mad to remember the days when I would go to Neteller to transfer money to Party Poker for thier latest reload. Damn I hate Republicans...

Yep. If you try to log in from out of the country where you started the account, it does this automatically.

It won't let me log in from where I am (Germany) and they are giving me crap about switching the account over to a German one.

I havent made the withdraw yet because of this release. It reads pretty cut and dry but Im not sure which is the best option at this point. Prob the best is to agree and be done with Neteller all together. If a class actions suit does come together, Im thinking it could prob just be for the interest on our monies?

My account balance is not correct (-$1535.85). I e-mailed Neteller today because my Neteller Card balance was not transferred back to my account and determined that this was the discrepancy. Here is the response I received...

"Dear xxxxx,

Our record shows a total balance of $4219.99. You have withdrawn a total balance of $1535.85 back in January to your NETELLER card. You should still be able to withdraw those funds from an ATM as this was not affected. As well, you should be able to withdraw the funds from your NETELLER account.

I guess my question is... Since we all knew that US Customers cannot withdrawl funds using the Neteller card was no longer an option, I destroyed my Neteller card in anger at some point over the past 6 months.

Any suggestions on how I might proceed? I obviously do not want to make a withdrawl for less than my total account balance.

What is scary for these people with 5 figure amounts and such, the interest that could have been generated for all that time the funds were locked.
