LC: How many STTs before burnout?
 

Lately I've been really concentrating on volume (due to my natural inclination towards extreme laziness). I'm wondering what a standard STT per day count would be for a dedicated full-time grinder. The past couple weeks I've been plateauing at 72-96 per day - Am I a big puss or is this pretty standard?

that seems like quite a few, but it sorts depends on how many you play an hour

so 6-8 hours a day for 2 str8 weeks, that is a lot, take a break

some mix of less play, study more, would probably make you more money in the long run

I'm good for 18 per day, but I work full-time. I am starting to get sick of poker also.

I can usually put in a good 70-80 a day if I weren't so damn lazy. After 3 days at that pace, I slow it down to like 30 a day.

I work a full time job plus play 50 games a day. Just depends on the person.

This question is completely dependant on the person/circumstance but I play 110-140/day

i play about 50 a day in 2-3 hours but not on weekenends - no burnout so far for me

Was playing about 60 a day, took some time off, now preparing for massive action

I 12 table, so probably 15-18/hour and I try to play atleast 3 hours a day which is around 50/day. Fairly often I will be lazy though but thats usually made up for when I put in a lot more time on other days.

i think the biggest multi tabling degens (you know who you are) to come through here got in close to 150/day for most work days at their peaks.

I could probably play 1-2 a day before I burned out.

Can I just say that I'm freakin' amazed that anyone could actually 12 table and win!

I'm curious to know what level you guys are playing at? I play the $6 tables at party and I can't play more than two without losing grip.

I could do 100+ per day but after a couple of days of that I didn't want to play for a day or two.....

I 12 table $27s, though a fair amount of people play more than that at this level (16-18 or so). I think most 20+ table players are at the $16s and not any higher but I could be wrong.

5 tables is my absolute max, but is a little too much for me. I downgraded to 4 again. It's alot harder when you work full time. I have a hard time playing for more then 2 hrs in a row unless I'm playing mtts. What's funny is you guys playing 100 in around a day = my monthly output, of course I play a bunch of mtts too. You guys are [censored] sick!!!

i did like 3700 in feb, i wasnt exactly burned out but i was a bit sick of it i guess. depends on what else u have in your life. if you have nothing else to do you might as well just play 150 sngs a day, and if u cant then you're just a huge pussy!

Im up to 40 since the start of this thread. And took a dinner/coffee/Spend time with the woman break.

Im doing 150 a day, but for that to be possible you need to be playing limits where games start every minute or so.

You'll be able to play more if you play them in a continuous fashion rather than in sets.

Playing in sets FTW. Playing sngs continuously drains the life out of me, but playing a set of 10 like its all one big sng is still somewhat enjoyable to me.

I struggle to play more than 60 a day though. Ugh

Continuous is easier on you too because while some of your tables are getting into the high blinds bubble area and requiring more attention, your newer ones are fold and forget so theres a nice balance.
