Re: 3/6 -- RR pot river decision.

i think flop chk is fine. villain may be ready to spew on turn and river w/ hands that have no equity based on reads.

Re: 3/6 -- RR pot river decision.

with history and your weak line, he is valuebetting/bluffing worse and and may call u down with worse..Plus more importantly.. would work well for metagame later. "gettin by far the better of me" ...take control.

Re: 3/6 -- RR pot river decision.

I really hate a push here. Its close. I think the check is ok on the flop. How is a bet call going to work here? What do we do on the turn? I presume we are calling almost any turn. If we only had a single buy in I may bet call the all in, but im not sure about here. I like your line and I think i flip a coin on the river.

Re: 3/6 -- RR pot river decision.

it honestly looks like ur getting value-towned
im not too sure tho, depends on villain and ur history, but your hand looks very transparent fwiw, so play accordingly...

LucidDream 07-24-2007 07:19 PM

Re: 3/6 -- RR pot river decision.

lol...why flip a coin on the river. hand is under repped, villain can easily be bluffing w/ 33 or some trash hand. sure he value towns it but he probably fires 2 w/ air after the flop chk.

jpsnow 07-24-2007 07:22 PM

Re: 3/6 -- RR pot river decision.

i just think he is probably v-betting more than he is bluffing here and its very close

cheiro 07-24-2007 07:24 PM

Re: 3/6 -- RR pot river decision.

I don't think your hand is transparent due to underrepping. He could easily put you on QcX or KcKx and try to move you off of it. It's close but I'd call it.

also looks like value town to me, i fold

doe she like calling your 3bets? if so, bet/call flop

Re: 3/6 -- RR pot river decision.

as played I'd prob call becuz u checked flop

Re: 3/6 -- RR pot river decision.

wow, i think u have to call. u never have stronger than AK here, and more often something like KK/JJ

Re: 3/6 -- RR pot river decision.

xorbie how come you are comfortable gettin in 150bbs on that flop with AK?

KRANTZ 07-24-2007 08:41 PM

Re: 3/6 -- RR pot river decision.

call this. flop check is good.

you could fold it on occasion if you had a good idea of his 3-bet calling range.

jambon 07-24-2007 08:46 PM

Re: 3/6 -- RR pot river decision.

definitely call, uve underrepped so now u have to call :-) line before the river is fine also

tcorbin16 07-24-2007 10:39 PM

Re: 3/6 -- RR pot river decision.

yeah, i called. just checkin. i was shown QQ and was like meh what can you do. i think my hand is very under repped and i can have Kx or Qx of clubs in my hand drawing to the flush. he himself can have hands that are worse than mine tryin to steal the pot.
