Thanks for pointing that out. I accidentally entered 3 units into my tracking spreadsheet. My record should be 1-0, 1.53 units. By the way, how do I go back and edit the post? I can't find the edit button on the screen.

When betting on a favorite, a 2 unit play should be "to win" and on a dog it would be 2 units risked.

Why is that? I'm genuinely asking, because I had always thought it was more a matter of personal preference.

Yes, it's a matter of personal preference but there are mathematical reasons that allow you to bet more on favorites with the same edge.

FWIW, that parlay is about as uncorrelated as could be for a play on the ML and O/U. If KC wins, the chances are much better that the score will be over. I hope you win (if for any reason because I am a BOS fan [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img].

Unfortunately I have to go back to work starting tomorrow (I'm a teacher), so I don't know how much handicapping I'll be able to do. I'll definitely do it on the weekends and I'll try and do as much as I can during the week. My picks will either be up soon after the lines are up or right before gametime.
