Staking question

I'm really curious about what people would do in this scenario.

Lets say you meet a guy and convince him you are a winning poker player. He has 90k and invests 30k staking you in games. You lose it in 2 weeks. 9 months later you cash for a million in a tournament and the guy who backed you is now struggling. What would you do?

at first i thought stake b/c that's what he did for us, but he put up a significant chunk of his roll so i'd just give him 30K. it's a drop in the bucket

I mean you just won a million and it certainly might have been because of some sort of opportunity he presented. Give the man back his 30k or at the very least offer to stake him for 30k, very karmalicious

QFT.

At the very least offer to stake/loan (whichever he wants) him 30K.

Although I'd say that staking someone with 1/3 of your money probably isn't a good idea...

i wouldnt tell him about my win and then ask him for another loan and say ill make up so its 100% risk free for him

Sorry about messing up the poll guys, but thanks for all the replies anyways. I'm actually the guy who staked and I got the 4th answer so its pretty much the worse bad beat I've ever taken. I still can't wrap my mind around it even though other people warned me this would happen.

Situation

Well we wern't really friends before I staked him and after he lost me the money I didnt talk to him too much. But the guy befriended me in order for me to stake him. He really had to convince me cause I had already lost over 90k staking other people and I did not want to stake ever again. Plus he told me if he did well i the future ofcourse he'd pay me back. But ofcourse he would say that, he wouldn't say "No sorry if I lose you 30k and win a million I wont pay you back" Man he would have said anything for me to stake him.

Oh and he only had 6k at the time so he was really struggling.

Re: Situation

Obv since he gave you 1/3 of his cash, you should do the same.

Give him 333k.
