Party adds Hellkat poker

Not seen this before. Just seems to be exactly like a normal nl speed stt sng but with a 15 min time limit. Once time limit is up top 3 chip stacks are paid.

Crapshoot or what?

Definitely not my kind of game, count me out.

Some fish may love this format, hopefully they will try out their skills in real poker after winning in this format.

There must be some kind of strategy to this form of poker. Anyone an idea?

You would get to play about 10 hands I guess.

I can't see anything but steal-steal-steal-steal. You can't wait to hit a hand and you need to be in top 3.

But as everyone might be hyper aggreesive, you might even be able to fold into the money 50% of the time

As the timer gets low I assume you should just get more LAG-ish as you would if the blinds were very large.

Not necessarily... after 10mins once you have the chip lead you want to play super TAG and waste as much time as possible. Use your time bank every hand etc.

I have played 3 games of this and won every one so far doing this...

Re: Party adds Hellkat poker

I just watched one of these play out and it looks retarded. Once the clock hit 14mins the 3 chip leaders just ran their timers to the max to ensure victory. This is obv a legitimate strategy considering the nature of the game, but I also wouldn't spread the game on account of this. And what is with Party's obsession with spreading a million different variations of hold 'em tourneys? I'd much rather see more conventional games added than this crap.

Last 15 seconds,
new hand begins,
shortie utg pushes, (any 2 offcourse)
other shortie calls,
Chipleader uses timebank,
people curse at him, people say: stop wasting time,
other shorties FOLD !!!!!!!!!!!!!! ??????????????????
2nd chipleader calls in bb with 99, if he loses he gets nothing, if he wins he is number 1

I LOVE THIS GAME. lol

The last few hands would kinda be like the final question in jeopardy.

What's the rake like in this?

Obviously they should give each person a time-limit, like 2 or 3 minutes, and if you run out of time or chips you are out.

Great idea, I'm liking that a lot. Time wasting retards that constantly take 30 seconds to decide what to do with their two cards will be waving bye bye when their clock has gone.

This Hellkat on the other hand sounds terrible.

They're only spreading these at $3 & $6 stakes for now, so 20%.
