Hi Everyone:

I've been doing binding inspections earlier (on Wednesday) and brought home a couple of copies of each of the two new books. Later today (Thursday) we should be getting the first deliveries to our office of each title. This means that on Friday the 20th, as announced, we will be shipping out the first books.

This includes those of you who ordered books directly from us or ConJelCo. I can't say for sure that they all will be shipped on Friday, but a good number will be going out.

Mason, you are located in Henderson and have the books there? Is there a way to get a book Thursday or Friday in Las Vegas or Henderson somehow?

I think Mason usually takes a box or two over to the Gambler's Book Shop in LV pretty quickly after receiving them.

I called Gambler's Book Shop in LV and they didnt get any yet but they are willing to call you when they come in. (which I hope is today or friday, please Malmuth!)

*bragging* I was just the very first consumer on planet earth to receive a copy of both PNHL and SitNGo Strategy. Mike from professionalpoker.com has a store in Henderson NV and has both books and sells them for a 25% discount off the cover price.

Another good thing about ordering though Professional Poker is that they have several books in B-Stock condition and can be bought for even deeper discounts and usaully you can't why 1 book is B-stock vs another book being A-Stock.

I almost did the same, but regular shipping looks like it could take awhile (the site said 4 to 30 days because they use something called media mail!!), depending on distance from Vegas! Since I'm in the northeast, I might have to wait a very long time and priority mail was a little expensive. So, for this time around, I will wait for Amazon.

However, if it turns out that others get their books quickly using the sloooow shipping method, than maybe I will make my next order through professionalpoker.com.

Too bad, because I was so ready to order. :-(

The media mail average time in transit for a cross country trip is 12 days. I state the wide range to be honest about the possibility of a slow delivery.

Here are my actual stats for the last month from my postage printing provider

Media Mail Average 6.6 days Min 1 days Max 27 days

I was in Gambler's Book Store and Gambler's General Store on Friday and neither had either of the books. The book store said you wouldn't give them the book until next week so that Conjelco could sell the book first. Understandable, but I wish I would have had the opportunity to buy them while I was in town.

Seeing all the members here who are waiting for a copy, in my opinion this is not understandable at all, but down right annoying.

First off, both new titles were delivered to Gambler's Book Shop (aka Club) at approximately 3:00 pm on Friday. I know for sure this was the case because I delivered them myself. Gambler's General Store got the books about 15 minutes later when I dropped them off there as well.

I also just spoke to Howard Schwarz of Gambler's Book Club and he said that he has no idea where

came from and that they would never make a statement like this.

Both these stores are given top priority by us and they each got books as soon as it was physically possible to get them the books.

I just purchased my copies of Professional No-Limit Holdem Vol. I and Sit n Go Strategy from Gamblers book store and they had plenty of copies. They said they got them in yesterday.

I believe you are speaking the truth. It would be silly not to give other sellers the book so that conjelco could sell it first. The most logical thing to do is to distribute the books as fast as possible to all the major sellers.

Nor did I, but I checked my order status at their site and it stated that it shipped on Friday and gave me the USPS tracking number.

Do you have any idea when Amazon or Barnes & Noble type sites would start shipping? I'm just curious because I pre-ordered from B&N. Thanks.
