there a a lot draws out there so i don't think a push here iswrong
yeah... also if a cr min doesn't make much sense w/ a draw but after the pf action you can only fold if you are pretty sure that he hits a set otherwise you can't fold in imo

i call. he may have the exact same hand as you or he's on a draw. either way call or push. imo anyway

my line is fold/push
i don't see much advantages of a call

I haven't seen this at 100 yet. At 50 I haven't ever been shown anything AA beat.

Re: AK puke spot

are you more likely to call an all in, with a flush draw, with two cards left to come out, or just one? i'd perfer two, so if heart doesn't hit on turn, i push. if it does. i still have opportunity to fold, thus saving me part of my bank roll

i don't understand why everyone has to be so gung-ho about everything. this is no limit right? not no thinking... sometimes calling in the correct situation can pay off without risking possible tilt and loss of more money

so you just want to call and than fold in a 100$ w/ 50$ left if a heart comes not knowing if he even has a flushdraw??
you commit yourself in the pot if you just call so you can just shove the flop because folding after calling the flopraise isn't a good play imo

it also give villian the chance to hit his draw more sheeply than if you directly pushs

You pretty much have the nuts here in a reraised pot. I would shove.

i shove on drawy boards like this

Re: AK puke spot

You could re-raise less preflop.

I shove on a board like this. I would have been happier to shove if he had raised more on the flop, but on a drawy board like this I really can't put him on 88/77 often enough to make the fold. Pushing is clearly better than calling.

Re: AK puke spot

I would bet more on such a drawy flop, usually about 25. I don't think folding to his raise is so bad. It looks a lot like he has a set.

paulnic 07-10-2007 07:51 AM

Re: AK puke spot

he is not reraising preflop with 88/77 is he? the only hands you should be worried about are AA and KK. KK is very unlikely because 2 are accounted for so AA is the only real worry... i imagine it is much more likely he has AK here aswell. i would call the flop here. a lot of aggressive players will make this play with JJ/QQ in the hope that you will fold a hand like AK\KQ or they may just not believe u for the king. i wouldnt be so quick in folding here u have a nice hand on a very drawy board. see wht the turn brings

what do u think he has a set of??? would he reraise pre with 77/88? not unless he is majorily loose aggressive.

He doesn't re-raise pre. I think AA/KK is possible as well, even though thye only make up for 4 combos together.

Re: AK puke spot

if you are afraid of felting on a draw-heavy flop in a reraised pot when you have TPTK, why are you 3betting AK pf?
