Re: Beat: Moving to Oklahoma City
Wow...
Hey, The Flaming Lips are from OKC! So that's at least one good thing. |
Re: Beat: Moving to Oklahoma City
hahaha, oklahoma city is a real city. i live in binghamton. your beat would be like, an enormous life brag for me.
blah. |
Re: Beat: Moving to Oklahoma City
OKC is actually a pretty decent place to live. There are 2 casinos with 30 mins driving distance that could rival some Vegas casinos (Riverwind and Fire Lake). Plus the people are gonna be a whole lot nicer. I know some really good games around there too. PM me if you want the details.

I heard they got their liquor license taken away. Did they get it back? |

There was a licensing problem with the state where the state decided they weren't getting enough revenue from the deal. Every Indian casino is required to enter into a profit sharing agreement per federal law and they left a lot of the "essential" terms out of the original agreement. I believe it was fixed around April. The PLO games are about as some as they come there too! |
Re: Beat: Moving to Oklahoma City
I'm in Stillwater right now for school but my brother lives in OKC so I go down there to party a decent amount. There is some fun to be had in the area (ladies, booze, gambling, etc.)

Re: Beat: Moving to Oklahoma City

Soft? Im gonna be in town soon, what limits plo do they usually have running? [/ QUOTE ] They run 1/2 and 2/5 throughout the week and 5/10 (all PL) on the weekends. I'll be shocked if you see a preflop raise the entire time you play. |

[/ QUOTE ] there's been a 5/10 PLO game running on the last few saturdays ($500 min/ $2000 max buy in).. Too rich for my 'roll, but if you are interested.... Edit: Sorry, didn't see the response.. for the record the 1/2 (really 1/2/5 -- they usually do a min. $5 bring in, so it's really plays like a 2/5 game with a $500 max buy in) feaures plenty of preflop raising, although usually not much reraising. If you see a shaved head guy with geeky glasses playing, give me a sup bro... |
Re: Beat: Moving to Oklahoma City
I'm about to move out there too in about 2 months, I'd be interested in said pokah games.
