Thick British accent is very vague. The countries within the UK have very different accents.

English accent is fine.

Irish accent is another thing.

Texan is probably the most unbearable.

On an unrelated note, I thought the subject line for this was "most annoying RECENT poll" and was really confused for a second when the choices were Indian and Pakistani.

this should definitely be a poll with a lot of options, as most people here don't even seem to mind the Indian and Pakistani accents too much.

Hahahah - Istewart Polls = awesome.

I don't think I can tell the difference between Indian and Pakistani accents. I voted Pakistani cause I know alot of Indians and I don't hate their accent.

Worst though, IMO, is Vietnamese and Cantonese accents. Very guttural and harsh sounding. Japanese, Mandarin and Korean accents not nearly as bad.

I am indian, i live in india...and i cannot distinguish between and "Indian" accent and a "Pakistani" accent...
They are essentially the same..
Now a south indian accent...(Apu from The Simpsons)..thats [censored] annoying.
