Hi pll, i just wanna know what you guys would do if, receive 2000$ insted of 200$ in your bank account due to a poker site error tranfer? would you give back the money?

Im sending the money back, but it was a dificult decision.

Need true answers, not for funny please.

Stars did this to me, I kept it. I've redeposited on there and withdrawn with no problems, even after they sent me an email saying they want it back.

I wouldnt touch it. Wouldnt want to withdraw it, but wouldnt give it back. Would just play with it and if nothing was noticed after a while I would keep it

besides morals and ethics and all that. Poker rooms can do whatever they want to your account. Lock it, take your money and send you home crying. If they find out about their error. they'll probably be nice at first but they will get their money one way or another. Smarter to give it back and forget it ever happened.

Honestly, I like Pokerstars and they are a good company, so it wouldn't be difficult deciding to give it back. After all, if you'd made a mistake and deposited more than you intended, they'd work with you to fix the error.
