Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
I think you can't call, you'll see a set or an A many times.
And i don't think betting the turn is good. |
Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
I would bet turn. I don't see what he has that beats us. Get value.
|
Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
[censored] pot control! please bet the turn! This is a multiway pot with a [censored] drawy board and villain will call you with a lot of worse hands.
|
Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
bet the turn, snapcall river
|
Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
bet the turn and if he still fires that river instamuck. muck it anyways, he has a 6, maybe an ace.
|
Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
call river
|
Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
I think he hopes you have an ace
|
Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
bet turn, fold river as played
|
Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
snap call river?
i muck river as played |
Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
bet turn, which basically has you seeing showdown no matter what due to stack sizes
as played fold river, since an Ace is in such a large part of his pf range, and he know a 6 isn't in much of yours |
Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
I'd also bet turn, no reason to think we're beat yet and I wanna get stacks in. As played, tough decision on river... I would probably fold since it's such a large bet.

Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
What you need to ask yourself, is does an ace make sense given his previous actions. Unfortunately for you, it does. A nut flush draw along with his wheel draw would keep him in. If he was holding AK or even AQ he might stick around on the flop wondering if you had missed it. If you had bet the turn strongly you could probably eliminate these hands and avoid possibly getting beaten by a worse PP with a gutsy bet on the river.

[/ QUOTE ] I really dont think he has an ace here. He is NOT calling a flop here with A high, when you've 3bet him preflop. I also think that a A high flushdraw would checkraise allin here, instead of calling down. The only hand that beats you that makes sense to me is 1010. |
Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
or 66.
id fold |

The only hand that beats you that makes sense to me is 1010. [/ QUOTE ] why would he bet TT so strong when you can easily have AK in this spot? i think he has a set here never. too risky bet. Im thinking AK with at least 1 heart or 66. He might also do this with a weak PP (77-99) to try to fold out higher pps (villain-depending), but i doubt he has TT+. |
Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
when you check the turn isn't this what you want? a huge bet on the river because he thinks your holding two high cards? insta-call i believe
|
Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
lol at calling the river
|
Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
guys why don't you think hes just trying to bluff hard at it with the check behind on the turn? i think he thinks hes ahead with a small pair or missed flush? i insta-call all day in my book and fistpump the pot
|
Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
ohh read it too quick, didn't see the ace straight.. . hmm it could go either way but nm its probably a fold, your passive play caught up to you on the river

Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
Bet pot on turn, fold river.
|
Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
I'm the biggest POW of all time, and I snap fold river.
|
Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
how on earth would he have an ace here?me confused....
also, wouldnt it be more likely he would make a smaller bet with the straight to lure you into the pot?like 60% pot instead of potting it. |

Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
even 40/5 guys figure that a gutshot in a RR pot is no good
|
Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
looks like 66 more than an ace.. unless he's a big station I don't see how he has an ace.
|
Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
Raise more PF. $15 is too small especially with the caller in between and the fact that you are OOP. Bet turn here for value. I probably fold river as played....
|
Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
You can't win plz fold.
|
Re: NL200 - KK huge river bet
[ QUOTE ] I think he hopes you have an ace [/ QUOTE ] ^^ very true, you will see 66 here a lot |
