These "Ask Me" threads seem to be pretty popular in OOT, BBV, and BBV4L lately, so I was trying to figure out what I might be an expert on. Having recently (within the last hour, in fact!) completed my first $10k month ever, I figured I could talk about that for my epic "Ask Me" thread!

This month has been a bit out of the ordinary; this is the smallest # of hands I've played in a long time. I haven't had a losing month since 2006 though, so I'm not too worried, and even if I did have a crappy month it's not like my roll can't handle it.

I'm lazy. Also, you can see I had a low MT ratio; frequently I'll be down to 1 table and not have any good tables to waitlist at 2/4+ (I'm a pretty big game selection nit, I generally won't play a table if there isn't at least a 40+ vpip on it unlike the rest of you morons that sit around trying to outplay tables full of 25/20s) and I'll be too bored and just quit. This wasn't really ever a problem when I played 1/2 or lower.

I respect goofy for being a nit. I also think that too much emphasis is put into trying to achieve a certain stat profile and that this emphasis cost players $. Most of you are not good enough to play 24/21 or whatever sbrugby said was "optimal" in his first cardrunners video.

tbh, I'm kinda sad that my godlike poker runs of the past 5 months have been overshadowed my by total lack of success with girls. If a random poll were taken of 2+2ers, I bet more people would be like "oh goofyballer? lol he can't get laid" than "hey, that goofyballer kid is kinda good at poker" if asked what they recognize me for. So, I don't think it affects my status that much. I mean, before I knew bicyclekick plays good at nosebleed limidonk stakes, I knew him for making a thread in OOT called "the wussy one-armed hug" or something like that back when I first started posting on 2+2.
