beat: last 900$ of life... please give advice

Alright, well obviously this is a gimmick account; I am too ashamed to let my real identity be known. SO truth is I am 22, and my life is basically meaningless. I've lost every dime I’ve ever gambled with and am a true degenerate. I've lost every dime my parents but away for me, and have stolen/ borrowed over 100k just to lose that. I was a straight "A" student in high school and accepted and enrolled in a top 10 school. That didn't go to well after finding out it was only a short drive to a casino. Well I have 900 left. What should I do to plan to be robusto?

i don't know how to make a poll, so what i have come up with are as follows:

- stop gambling, and get a "real" job
- Blackjack
- go play some live poker
- load it on ftp

Anything else? Thanks

Go to Gambler's Anonymous or some similar support group. Don't gamble your last money away, that's incredibly dumb. At the very least take some time away from poker and if/when you come back maybe try to practice some bankroll management and or only gamble with money you can afford to lose.

Blackjack, you could always get hot and recoup the losses. Foxwoods must have been a bitch. How much have you really lost?

it was turning stone, not foxwoods.. got booted from cornell... also i've canceled my accts so many times because i said "i'll never play again" that i've had atleast 10 accts on all 3 (party, pre fritz) ... so it's been pretty bad... i'll grind and do well 90% of time.. then something in my mind clicks.. and i go crazy.. and bam right to double deck blackjack or heads up for my bankroll.. its just pretty bad.. we're at the point in my house where my parents have to keep EVERYTHING out of the house... one day they came home and my plasma, laptop, and baseball card collection (from my father) were all at the local pawn shop.. and i had already lost the money on ftp like 3 hrs ago.. it's bad... but why stop now?

don't be a pussy, you have a perfectly good lung and kidney that you'll never need. i can help you find a buyer, but for that i'd need at least 10% of whatever you get and i want it upfront cause i don't trust a [censored] degen lowlife scum of the earth like you with my money.

well my parents were worry warts... so when i left for college they put like 10k in my checking/savings.. that was gone in a flash.. then i cashed in all my bonds that people have bought me since i was born... then i took my bar mitzvah money (about 30k) .. then 2nd yr i'd call my parents every week and tell them i owed a different person money, and they'd send about an avg 1k per week. then after that i'd just stole w/e i could get my hands on.. have 2 10k loans out to ex friends who want to kill me.. and have taken money on out parents acct. i have the same name as my father so i am able to get access to his accts sometimes when there is a dumb teller

Re: beat: last 900$ of life... please give advice

I know we joke and [censored] all the time in these forums, but this is the side of gambling that is a bad deal. I am pretty sure there was a kid with a similar story a few years ago who committed suicide.

OP, I advise you to come clean to your parents first and foremost and get some kind of help. Don't throw away the last of your money, but instead make a concerted effort to solve your problems. Gambling can be a horrible addiction and it doesn't help anyone for you to throw it all away.

Most important, don't post looking for advice in BBV or OOT where jokes will never end. Take a serious look at you life and talk to your parents and professional help.

you can probably get a cheap, one use time traveling machine for ~850. so go back in time when a penny was a lot of money then buy 23844839 hookers with your leftover $50.

don't look for help in BBV4Life.

get some real help. maybe GA or something.

take time off. don't gamble. people have recovered from worse. get a real job. start from scratch. and work something out. you'll be surprised how supportive your parents will probably end up being if you come clean to them and make a legitimate effort to turn your life around.
