$400 NL AQo for stacks post flop in 3b pot vs. PurpleJurkle
Villian is PurpleJurkle, standard TAG. We don't have all that much history recently. I'm 90% sure he would fold or push AK on that flop. So basically I think he has a boat/quads or nothing.

Re: $400 NL AQo for stacks post flop in 3b pot vs. PurpleJurkle
I thought it was best to give him a chance to bluff. A lot of hands that I missed on this flop I would play the same way and then fold the river. Didn't think he would call with much worse either. Where am I wrong?

I kinda like the river check

Re: $400 NL AQo for stacks post flop in 3b pot vs. PurpleJurkle
i just find it hard to imagine not betting/pushing somewhere in this hand, esp after the turn goes check/check. do you never bluff here?

Re: $400 NL AQo for stacks post flop in 3b pot vs. PurpleJurkle
So you think he floated the flop w/ no showdown value so he could check behind on the turn with nothing and bluffshove the river for 2/3 pot?

[/ QUOTE ] i think it's possible villain calls flop with T9/66/etc without necessarily planning on turning it into a bluff but now hero's line looks a lot like QQ/air that can't call a river push. what do you recommend on the river, push? hard to see anything that's calling (except maybe smaller Ax, whcih might push for value anyway). do you want to c/f? kind of weak, b/c there aren't many hands that beat us (although i agree that not a tond of hands are bluffing there). i like c/c. so i like op's line all the way. |

I don't see why it's so hard for villian to bluff when the scare card ace came on the turn. So your point is that this is always JJ or AA? It's pretty hard to put villian on a jack, although in this hand he did have quads. |
