If I knew there was going to be a contest, I would have taken photos right after my vasectomy.

wish I was digital cam smart..

spinal fusion old style here got a zipper along my neck about 10 inchs long from below my neck to mid part of the back of my skull still massively evident from a car crash where I broke my neck at age 18.

Modern operations for spinal fusions now go in thru the throat.

Also had multiple other mega stich wounds only other one viewable is 7 inch stapple mark left from 3 level deep 90 stitchs closing on my inner elbow/forearm--this was produced by breaking a plexiglass window in parking lot at Arizona State swimming complex campus late one evening for entertainment..was forced to lay drunk on hot summer asphalt as paramedics were called in as the cops were parked about 50 feet away in the dark..oops..heh. circa 1983.

I got one almost the same as the OP, but it's from right smack dab in the middle of the breasts all the way down to belly button.

Not digital cam smart either, but then again, not like I would picture/post it anyways. ; )

Why did they use the patella tendon method? I had the same done about 15-16 years ago. I had my second knee done (also ACL reconstruction and miniscus) done Sept 2001 and it was all done orthroscopically.

Just because it's little doesn't mean it didn't hurt...14 stitches is a lot for one finger!

how is there so much blood after you got the op done?!

fluffpop62 06-27-2007 07:30 PM

Re: SCAR WARS! photo thread

It wasn't an operation, I fell and it was cut with glass all the way to the bone and you could see it!!! So it was bleeding like crazy and that was where they did the stitches so there is still blood on the towel.

It still doesn't have any feeling on that side

O.K., I can beat that size wise x2 for sure, plus some other assorted scars. But there's no prize! What's the payoff? (Grew up as a teen with Stage IV metastasized nerve cell cancer, soft tissue.) Half a dozen smaller scars and two killers.
