Truth about poker

1. Online poker is rigged. The only cards that are NOT random are the ones in your hand. The house manipulates these cards to keep tables full and the rake up. As in slots there is only 1 true winner the House. The house gives new accounts and poor players good cards to keep tables full, otherwise if the cards were all random it would be boring. Bull%%%% about the house not rigging is for gullables or site shills(pitchman). 2. Poker is simple, nothing complicated, here it is. If it is not a pair and less than 10 fold. add A suited and suited connectors. the rest is called gambling. Poker is simple, prove me wrong explain why the game is not simple(they can't). they want you to believe the game is hard and out of your reach- it is to their advantage. Those that do not believe in conspiracy are fair game for those who conspire.

And those that believe in conspiracy theories are fair game for those that invented the conspiracy theories to do the real cover up, ie. the Martians, Betelguesians or even the Thetans.

Dozer60, only a month ago you were asking rank beginner questions, now you're wise and firmly believe it's rigged. You're wrong on both counts, but if you want to believe otherwise maybe you should just quit.

Or, you can do what some other players do: go play in a live casino. Only difference there is that you'll have to blame the dealer for your "bad luck."

I can't understand why all these players think that you watch 3 hours of poker on TV, and then skim through 2 books and BAM! they're supposed to be awesome players all of the sudden just like that. Sorry if you're not as good a player as you feel you should be, but hey.

Yep. It appears you are right. I believe you totally.
However, I have a buddy who isn't as dumb as me and I am going to need to provide him with some pretty hardcore proof, especially after that remark about folding anything less than 10s and holding anything better. I think he may think you are an absolute idiot based on that one remark.
He's one of these boners that thinks position, the other players at the table, stack sizes, etc., blah, blah, matter.

Anyhoooo, I am sure that you have a relevant statistical sample of hands that demonstrate an impossible distribution, and that is what you have based your claim on. You know that there are posters here that have huge databases of hand histories that have distributions within the expected norms, right? I'm sure you do. I just bring it up because my nitty buddy is surely going to. So just publish your proof and we'll get this thing sorted out.

Until then, go away.

I can flick the luck switch to make you a winner online like other twoplustwo posters.
I need to know you player name and what site/stakes you play on first though.

Re: Truth about poker

You only think it is rigged because you see 2-3 times the amount of hands you see live. There is going to be a lot of bad beats and unfortunately it looks like your 10,10 and higher idea didn't work out for you. Why not try playing 4,7 or 2,6 hands. That way you will always be an underdog and will surely become a winning player, right? From what you say, you know how to win, just play crappy starting hands and the house will throw you all the chips! Do it, try it.
