50NL: I go all passive with JJ oop

Villain 40/15/2, small sample. Seems a bit of a drooler.

Meh, no idea what's going on here. Would you do anything differently on turn or river?

Initially, I thought vb/f river might be more EV than c/c or c/f because 22-77/99-TT are a larger part of his range than QQ+/8x.

But the problem is I'm really not sure how a, say, $10 or $12 vb effects our EV the times we are behind. Furthermore, I think we have to consider the times we check river and he bets a smaller amount as a bluff or with a worse hand and we can call/win: if we bet river, we sometimes lose those bets, right?

Does that even make sense? lol.

Thanks.

against this guy I probably checrkraise the turn. As playedma blocker bet on the river is the best option I can think of.

id fire again on turn. Probably a b/f unless you think villian is aggro w/ like small-mid PP, 5x hands, draws, and overs. We've shown soo much weakness on turn/river that villian could just be bluffin...personally i dont like c/c just makes us seem so weak but it does alow him to bluff/bet weaker hands so river might be a call

bet again on the turn. check raising would be dumb.

I think this river is a definite call. There are so many "you check to me? I bet!" type villains.

I definitely think you need to call this river mainly because of the way you played the hand. Like some of the other said, I really think a raise on the turn would have helped out quite a bit.

I call this river, this is exactly the kind of villain thats on a bluff or overplaying a hand here a lot of the time.

Also calling the turn and river is what you have to plan to do after checking on the turn since you are going to induce agaisnt a villain like this a whole lot.
If you had lead the turn and got raised then you can fold. FWIW I like inducing here against this particular opponent, but mix in some bets as well.

Why is he betting so little on the turn? The majority of the time it probably means a scared attempt at a steal hoping you whiffed overs. I think it is a WA/WB situation and would probably call down.
