Vanessa Rousso Eliminated
Vanessa Rousso has been eliminated from today's event and was in a very distraught state as she left Amazon Room due to some unknown altercation at her table.

the altercation was with aaron been. i'm told he said something like "you couldn't have played that hand any worse" to her, i guess she told chad b and he didn't like that too much. he seemed pretty heated telling aaron to apologize to her in the hallway. he just walked away.

I feel like its weird anyway. All the kid said was "You couldnt have played that any worse." Shes a grown woman. Its not like he got in her face and yelled at her or anything. IDK, Chad Brown rubs me the wrong way I guess. Comes off very arrogant imo.

She probably made another of her world famous bluffs when the other playing is obviously holding top pair or top 2.

She does it time and again in every tournament she's in. She's rarely out drawn frequently shoots herself in the foot and eliminations are frequently self inflicted.

Lol it's an adult poker competition. If someone wants to trash talk so frigg'n what? You're playing in a male dominated sport that revolves around gambling. If his remark was sexist, okay maybe (although hopefully she would be mature enough not to really care). Trash talking is part of poker... Deal with it.

Did he say this to her about the hand she busted out on? Sounds like it. And did he bust her? I don't care about her one way or the other, but if someone said that to me after I'd just busted (especially if it were true) I'd be pretty pissed off. Not "distraught" tho, lol...

And I doubt she exactly sent Brown after him - she probably mentioned it and he decided to play macho.

um she berated a guy for "2 outering" her after she checked behind (and screwed up every other decision in the hand, while constantly talking, calling the guy "an idiot with kk," and taking so long the dealer had to call a clock) and then i called her on it after the hand was over(i say anything insulting other than that she screwed up the hand) and then she tilted her stack off to some other guy at the table and left. chad approached me in the hallway of the rio later that day and wanted to fight but that didn't seem like a good idea so i walked away.

Haha don't get me wrong, I don't like her at all and I'm certainly not defending her. I'm just saying that her inability to stand up for herself is pathetic. It's the same as running home to your mom when you get verbally picked on at school. I think it's hilarious that you said that to her, but it is certainly not classy or mature of you to do so, regardless of how much of a bitch she was being or how bad she played the hand.

It seems to me that these "pros" that lose their cool like this can't have a good composition for poker. Isn't a big part of poker emotional stability? I never hear of Ivey or Cunningham doing stuff like this. I know Hellmuth does it all the time but for him it sort of seems like 1/3 acting 1/3 trying to disrupt the opposing players and 1/3 venting. But maybe what Rousso did and what Hellmuth does are the same and we just condone phil since he does it all the time.
