Event 30.

Hi there, can any 2p2ers fill us in on any action going on over there. I head Shaun Deeb is doing well as other 2p2 notables. Im following the other sites but was just wondering if there are any members of the 2p2 community over there than can use this as like a liveupdate blog to speak. Thanks.

Eugene Todd got up and left his stack here at the Rio - ran over to the Bellagio - busted out over there - and is now back here playing his stack; taking multi-tabling to a new level.

Sadly my table won't break at all tonite and it's been like 3 hours of play without a player elimiated at our table so we just exchanging chips but I am chipping up well.

god damn donkaments.

after level 4, I had 6k. at the dinner break in the middle of level 7, I had 120k, which was good for 2nd place of 140 and a commanding lead over 3rd. up and down through the bubble, win a big coinflip against a douchey englishman who berates my play, then get moved to the right of hoyt corkins with a fatass stack and another bigstack who's playing aggressively, and lose some trying to steal from them. Anyhow, down to like 95k or so, with about 50 players left. folds to SB who opens to like 8k at 1000-2000-300, I shove AKo to put him in for his last 60k, he calls eventually with TT. Axx flop, x turn, T river. So rigged. Not long after, I shoved A9h for my last 22k and hoyt called with AJo, and I somehow managed to miss all my outs. meh.

45th, $5260. Pretty disappointing, but I guess I can't complain.

Re: Event 30.

I ran really bad in day2 important hands were these.

I flat call a hoyt raise with J10s float the 632r flop and shove over his turn bet on a Q completing rainbow and showed.

A few hands later hoy makes it 10k in SB he had about 400k I had like 150k I call with 65o flops K65r he leads 10k I minraise he tanks and calls turns a 9 puts a FD I bet 45k with 70k behind he calls again rivers K he checks I check behind KQ good. I am 100% he's calling me on any river I shove on sigh. Should of had like 300k stack.

Anyway vinny vihns dead stack again cuz he didn't show for day2 is at my table admo to my left blinds 2/4k/500 hoyt opens for 9k in CO I shove A7s for 80k OTB cuz blinds dead and I'm pretty sure hoyts raising anything in that spot. Admo wakes up with kings calls me hoyt shows an ace as he folds so I am down to 2 outs but I flop a fd and whifffffffffff.

2nd 27th of the series not even 10k sigh

22-Sep-02 $ 100 No Limit Hold'em

This was a shorthanded tournament which means you need to play a lot of pots, put villain on a range of hands, trust your reads and play accordingly. On top of that we were playing with the dead Vinny stack which ratcheted up the aggression.

shaundeeb played v. well post flop; I was impressed with a pot he flat out stole from Hoyt who had top pair on the flop. (esp. since Hoyt loves to call)

He would have doubled up through Hoyt in another huge pot had he not gotten counterfeited on river.

shaundeeb, as promised: I had AQdd in the big pot we played. Two overs and picked up a flush draw on the turn. Your read was spot on but it's easy to forgive not trusting it since I just sat at your table and it was the first pot I played. Plus I run hotter than the sun and I would have gotten there.
